Hi, I'm very new to this site, considering the site labels me as a virgin (at the time of writing this), but I was wondering what anyone's opinion would be if I started a Mindslaver CYOA based off of Tokhaar Gol's Mindslaver CYOA. Basically, the reader is approached by the Mindslaver god and is offered the powers from the original CYOA, basically an entire rip from the CYOA, except with a few parts changed such as the age manipulation boon being changed to only move ages from 18 and over, so no de-aging below 18, but 18 and above is fair game (such as making a milf/dilf an 18 year old teen, or making an 18 year old into a milf/dilf or granny/grandpa, if that's what you're into), and also some of the free slaves will be changed to be more 18 and over like. Overall, a straight rip from the Mindslaver CYOA, where the main character would be you if the mindslaver god decided it was your lucky day. But this is just an idea for now, I do have a few questions about making a story in general and about what interest anyone has in such a CYOA. 1. Is there a word limit for the introduction? That's where I want to put the boons, drawbacks, pacts, ect., and a general description of what the main character was doing before he/she was contacted by the Mindslaver god. 2. In what ways can under 18's be mentioned? Everybody under 18 will not be depicted in the ways that Kevin Spacey may find appealing, to put it jokingly. But seriously, I'm always afraid of breaking any rules and I don't want to write something that'll get me banned, I rather enjoy this site, and I have yet to be banned from anything considering I'm a good Christian boy 3. What kind of interest is there for this story? I know there are those mind control stories using other forms of magic, technology, ect. but I do think the Mindslaver CYOA has more flexibility, and an overall larger branching path that could be explored. Granted, unless you chose drawbacks that would lead to a game over, your own personal path may never end, but that is was I'm looking for, especially for myself, considering I hate endings, knowing that everything after the ending is either going to be rebooted trash or nothing at all. There's no actual limit, but I don't think most people would like to slog through thousands up thousands of word; so just try to keep the introduction as short as you can while getting your point across. (Consider moving some of the boon/drawback/pact information to a second chapter?) 2. Yes, you can mention under-18s. They can even be characters. But no sexualised descriptions of them are allowed. 3. Unfortunately, I can't help you here.
There is a Rules page that might help to avoid that. It seems that this is already a thing, so you might want to take a look at Rule 4. This is explained in Rule 1. For some things, Rule 2 might be relevant as well.

For question 3 I was mainly asking what people would think about it, since there are already other mind control/alpha male/female CHYOA all over the site, and whether anyone would participate in adding their own characters and making their own adventures given the choices they could choose from. Concerning Rule 1, I mainly wanted clarification on what status under 18's can be under, whether they can be mentioned in the story, play an important non-erotic part in the story, or whether under 18's can be mentioned at all in the story. With Rule 4 and plagiarism, I wasn't going to be taking anyone else's story, but rather using Tokhaar Gol's Mindslaver CYOA guide, where an eldritch entity gives the main character the choice of various mind control methods, boons, powers, drawbacks to gain more points for said subjects, pacts with other powerful beings for more points, and a list of free slaves to choose from, with one freebie and any others costing half a point each. After a writer pics what they want from the selection, then they would write about their adventures, whether they conquer, laze around, have fun or whatever they want. Originally I was going to ask a fifth question about whether there was already a Mindslaver CHYOA on CHYOA, but after some half-assed searching, I could only find a different thread from 2017 where someone talked about doing the same thing. As GenericEditor168 pointed out, it's possible to have underage characters in non-erotic parts of stories. The detailed description of the rule should then give you an idea of where the line is. Getting inspired by other content or writing fanfiction is fine. If you want to copy sentences from the other material, you might need their permission. Regarding the execution of this... I guess you're planning to outline what options are available and have a chapter that picks a certain set of traits? (Offering branches for every option won't work as you would have to publish millions of chapters before anything happens. The only way to do that is to use Game Mode but I don't see this working here as well.)
