He thinks for a while as He watches and then turns to his Lieutenand. "The Emperor is dead. Someone will step up and take his Place sooner or later. But it's too early to say what Faction will gives us the greater benefit" He puts his Helmet aside. "What I'm more concerned about is The Women I made Major of This City....Have Stantor send out and bring her here. She had Months to pay Me...."
"Support the rebellion!" Sasha immediately calls, few voices following. But soon, one of the elder man interrupts. "Rebellion have left us to our fate when we needed them! They want to restore the Republic which was a disaster. Their Mid Rim Offensive was a disaster. I say let them and empire fight it out - but without us." A number of voices raised in support. It seemed that the crew was truly divided. It was up to captain to decide.
The man shrugged. "About two days. Have any ideas on what you want to do once there? Droids aside, the upkeep of the ship is something we will need to think about. Not to mention lack of fighters..."
The Chiss woman moaned as the older man started fondling her, apparently easily seeing through his plot. Unlike the Captain of the pirates, it seemed. The woman smirked. "Alright. You can come with that little toy of yours, and make your offer." The woman nodded. "But better make it a good one." And with that, the connection was cut. "I understand that you would want me to take care of the crew once on board? Do you want anyone alive?" Chil'van asked, yet made no move, to remove the hand from her bust. "You do realise, that they can just shot down the shuttle while you are making your way there?" Natasi Finos asked.
Rook hesitated. "The Major Ulve Hildather had acquired the aide of Acalla gang. Many of their goons joined the Major's retinue as official enforces. Stantor might not be enough to take her down. That, and after such a thing, we will create vacuum in power. We can except Imperial garrison seeking retribution on us." She paused. "Should I assist Stantor in this task?"
Kataria was no less divided than her crew. She don't trust rebelion, but staying out of this won't bring them any profit neither. She made her decition. "After last battle, the rebels must cost a lot casualtise and wounded in their ranks. I'm sure they would be paid a lot for medicine and suplises for them. Let's see what they can offert to us." She look at the crew. "This isn't act of pledge for rebels. I just want to check, how much profit we can take from bussines transaction. And remeber, where is war and battle, there are always victim in civilians, just like us." Katarina look at Sasha "Take five men with you and buy medicene and suplise, enought for half of our cargo. I don't want to pull our credits in unknow transaction."
Daltar removes his hand from the blue woman's breast. "Kill everyone on the bridge, except the captain. There's no need to kill the other pirates, I'll use the bridge controls to trap them, and they'll have the choice of either surrendering to the boarding party, or dying." He looks to the blonde scientist and nods. "They could destroy the shuttle, but with me dead, they'd have no leverage to stop the Indefatigable from blowing them to pieces. Still," he gives her a look of acceptance, "pirates can sometimes be rash and stupid. Luckily for me, I made no attempt to hide this." He gestures to the luxurious cape slung over his uniform, fastened with gold chain. "This marks me as the ruling baron of my homeworld. She might not know exactly what it represents, but she'll know that it means I'm rich. The pirate 'queen' will want to hold me for ransom. Pirates might be rash, but they're also greedy. Too greedy to throw away a payday like me." He turns to his first officer. "Lieutenant, prepare my Lambda Class shuttle. When I give the signal, have the TIE fighters disable the frigate's engines and turrets. Use ion cannons, so we don't need to repair them when the ship is ours." Dismissing the officer, he turns to the leader of his troopers. "Furnace," he addresses the veteran clone by name, years of service together eroding the normal formality between an admiral and a stormtrooper. "Prepare a boarding party, and when the engines are disabled, launch an attack. I'll disable most of the defences, but be careful nonetheless."
"It wont come to a Power Vacuum. I'm installing a New Major. I'm sure some Members of The Nest or The Imperial Remnants would be really eager to take The Heavy Responsebility." He puts on his Helmet. "We head out with 40 of My Clan. Let's see how loyal The Acalla Gang is when we Destroy their Houses and slaughter them. Make sure we bring enough explosives. I won't tolerate her Betrayel. But I want her alive and on her knees Is that clear?"
Sasha nodded, accepting command easily. Yet still, Katarina could see that the woman looked uneasily at her decision. She called five men and left with them. As the crew started leaving, moving to their duties, Will approached her. "Where do you plan to go? Some frontier contested world or one of their fully controlled worlds?" The man asked calmly, almost erriely.
"Yes sir!" Furnace answered him with fervour. As Admirals orders were carried out, he moved to the shuttle, his 'Jedi' on his steps. As the shuttle launched, he sat in the passenger section with Chil'van. After a moment he could feel woman's hand on his chest. "What do you need the captain alive for, oh master?" She asked, her voice curious and hot. Was she in role or was she mocking him, he couldn't tell. "Do you need a Twi'lek slut chained to your throne... or to make her another example with cruel execution, following Tarkin's steps?"
"Yes, Lord Darius!" Rook answered with fervour and put on her helmet. She left to execute his orders. It was surprising, how taking in that woman in, and showing her some kindness when she was at her lowest, had resulted in her loyalty to him. Loyalty reaching almost fanatical levels, one could call it religious devotion. After few minutes, four tens of his soldiers, Mandalorians, stood in front of him, ready to execute his orders and follow they clan leader into the thick of battle. The residence of major was little far from this place, and it might be better for them to use speeders - but jetpacks will work as well.
Katarina think a moment before answer. "On fully controlled words it will be much safety but on contested we get better prize for our wares. Let's take a medium risk and go to contested." She said and look at galaxy map. "Do you have any information about closest system to us?" She asked Will.
Darious stands before his Men and shows a Holomap of The Hideout from his Wristcomputer. "The Major seems to have forgotten his Place. I say we Remind him with Blood and Fire. We devide in two Attack Groups of twenty. One Group will be lead by My Lieutenand and moves forward with Speeders, making sure nobody leaves their Hideout to escape or get Help. I lead the other Team and Storm her Hideout with Jetpacks. Feel free to Kill everything that stands in Your way, but The Major is mine. I want her alive. Get ready we move out!"
Daltar doesn't make any moves when she touches his chest, but doesn't remove her hand either, wondering whether her act is flirtation, or provocation, but enduring either way. "I'll have her order her men on the ship, as well as on their remaining corvette, to stand down and surrender. Afterwards, I'll deliver her to an Imperial world for her punishment. The prestige for delivering a live pirate queen is greater than that for delivering a corpse, you see" He explains, as the shuttle flies towards the pirate frigate. "I do hope you'll be capable of handling the bridge crew. I've never been particularly skilled in combat, myself." Daltar chuckles. "If not, then I suppose we're both going to die. Oh, and by the way, I have your lightsaber." He holds it up. "I'll give it to the captain as a 'gift'. I assume that you'll have no difficulty retrieving it from her, right?"
Mardica had to slump as she sat at her metaphorical throne. It was in actuality just a expensive desk in city hall. Days like this she questioned if her laws really helped anything. True, the planet had went from a third rate world that nobody even bothered logging onto star maps into what could very well turn into the seat of wealth and power for their part of the system. Some of the laws she had to go with made her question if she was really any better than the imperials. Then she would remind herself that it was. The worst she's done, is nothing to the worst of the imperials. Looking to the people sitting at the other end of her desk, waiting for her to say something she gave her thoughts to Aydn and a few of her upcoming knights. They weren't on the level of tackling the full force of the order of sith, but she was always happy to teach the old real ways of the Jedi and spread it to wherever she could and one day they would eventually be ready. Even if not now, a "weak" jedi was still far more dangerous than a lot of things. With the intel network, she had the ability to make a real force out of the planet yet, but they weren't there yet. "So. I've been debating where to take it from here. And while you know I'm a warrior, not a politician, the time has come where we need to play politics. In order to fund a planet wide defense, we always need more money. We'll meet up with these neighbors of ours. See what they have in mind and then we'll use that money to bring in mercenaries. "As for what we'll do, probably look for some equipment those mining companies have left, that the Jawas haven't taken yet. And maybe raid a few hang hideouts if we find any."
The man frowned. "The closest world would require us to break through the blockade. It would be quite risky." he paused. "There is another world, a safer bet, but I heard some bad things about rebels there... There is a safe world to transport the cargo - but it's quite far and the gain would be minimal - but it is safest..."
Katarina reconsider what Will said her. " I don't doubts in my pilot skills and our ship speed, but it will be better if we don't push our luck too far, so no blockade. What can you tel about these others rebels? They are fanatic and extermist? Something about their leader?" She think. Maybe Sasha will know something more about these rebels.
A number of voices answered in confirmation. Stantor saluted and left, his group following him. As his squad stood behind him, Rook Kast stood right behind him. "Ready to move on your command sir." She said. As Darious looked to the city, he noticed a number of landspeeders of his people leaving his headquarters.
Chil'van frowned. “The the moment you will show her the lightsaber, she will get alarmed. But I can follow your plan. ” She shrugged. “Pirate queen? She has barely three ships. As cunning as she is, you are overestimating the impact her capture will bring you." "We will be docking in a moment." The pilot's voice sounded over intercome.
