I am kinda new to the site and I just got approved for my first story so I was just curious how to add images, I want to put my best foot forward with my first attempt. I have tried using an image hosting site, copying the link into my draft story, but it just appears as text. Any help?
Use the following:  Make sure you use the direct image link, which should end in a file extension like .jpg or .png.
In addition, sometimes if you get the image from a wikia site it’ll add a bunch of stuff at the end of the url, just delete the stuff from the extension onward for example if it ends in .jpg=pageview69 or something you would delete the =pageview69 bit. You want the extension to be the last thing in the url basically otherwise it may not show up properly.
