The Shark's lagoon forum is very good for letting you know what new games are available and often allow you to play work in progress games. Another site for those who like Mind Control (and Transformation) stuff is hypnopics. Lots of female protagonists in games found on that site.
There's Mutant Minx Meltdown, which is pretty much a downloadable Chyoo story with stats and battles and things, and images for the girls you meet (though there's not many of these yet as the games still getting worked on). Story is about surviving on an island where a virus slowly changes all the women, first into nymphos and then into monster girls. Sex is mostly fem-dom of some flavour, so if you're not into that, it probably isn't for you!

You can find locations to explore, a lone city in a desert, and attack the demons at their bases as you find them. You gain allies at the City, as well as finding other friends and lovers in various locations. You can bring Lovers, Slaves, and Followers back to camp to have various fun scenes. Victory in combat (If lust is high enough) can allow you to rape your opponent, but loss results in you being raped. A male player can impregnate many of the women you meet while a female player can in turn get impregnated by almost everyone.... Trials in Tainted Space: You are the child of Victor Steelestein, a powerful and rich corporation owner. He has passed away, and to get your inheritance, you have to journey across solar system in a race against your cousin to find the pods your father has left behind for you. You explore several planets, gather lovers and crew members as you go, and face various dangers. Like with Fenoxo's other game, pregnancy is a possibility for women and men can impregnate a few of the female characters. Alder's Game: Fall of Eden: You have been pulled into a mysterious world of magic and must fight to find a way home. You can explore lots of locations, gather allies to help you in combat and in bed and help out a lot of people. Like with Fenoxo's games, pregnancy is involved. None of these games are finished, but they do receive updates fairly often. Fenoxo's games get more updates for backers of the games, but free updates happen enough to keep it interesting for those not willing to pay. Of the three, I don't have a favorite. I have played all three as both male and female to see the various differences and enjoyed both genders. You can become a Herm in all three games, but I have not tried that.
Extremely! I look through their wiki about the transformative items before I use anything. If there is an effect I want (Fox ears and tail for any girl lol) I make a save and then try the potion/berry/treat and if I get something other than that, I load my save data and try again. Doing a CoC playthrough right now with a male with a horse cock just so I could have some fun with that guard that moonlights as a hooker, Edyrn. Ended up getting the Centauress pregnant, then got Urta pregnant as well. There is a very funny scene you can see in the city if that happens but it is a random scene. Pregnant Edyrn chasing a thief through a crowd, but can't catch him due to pregnancy, but prego Urta was waiting and easily puts him down. She is on top of him yelling "I might look like I've eaten a silver placed hog on my own, but that doesn't mean I've lost my skills. Now either give up or everyone is going to know you got your ass kicked by a pregnant woman." (Might be a little off, I did that from memory.)
I'll try to remember some of my favorites... tfgamessite.com hosts most of the games that I can think off. Most of them have transformation, or transgender themes, so if that's not your thing, you can ignore this list. Of course they're not limited to these themes, TF/TG just tends to be the central theme of the content. "Beth" is a really fun mind trip with decent erotic content. It surprises you with decent characterization, and has half a dozen endings or so. Should take you 3 hours or so to finish. It's worth playing just for the novelty of it, but isn't on par with the rest on this list. Press Switch and Student Transfer are both excellent visual novels that feature highschool aged body swaps. Both of them have fun characters, and decent convoluted story lines in addition to the good erotic content with images. The biggest problems is that the Chinese cartoon element could be a turn off, and both of them only have one or two endings with a lot of incomplete story lines. I really like the traditional jrpg style games like Ascenda's Descent (Which is basically dead no matter what people on the forums say But it's damn good... I mean damn good in all elements of gameplay and story content.) Miss Adventures of Fred Ace (which is more of a comedic misadventure with erotic BDSM content. ) Monline (SAO/ .Hack TF/TG rip off, but has a ton off bad endings and fun story archs) Alone Amongst Demons (Fun story that's oddly sweet despite the overt corruption themes.) Runes of Chaos (Which starts really slowly, but becomes a good story as you continue last I checked it was very imbalanced though.) And of course there's literally over a hundred erotic escape/ trapped/ puzzle themed rpgmaker games, but the ones that stand out in my mind as the best are Halloween Party Seance and Prisoners of the Elder One. Both of these have a ton of bad endings, a ton of transformations, solid erotic content, creative gameplay, and fun stories to boot. Tales of the Drunken Cowboy is a great erotic game featuring subtle mind control without character death. It's just quality stuff. Similarly The Hers Project. has some high quality stuff and sets the platform for an excellent game. Unfortunately it only ever completed 2 or 3 of the 7 or so cells you are supposed to be able to explore. I would also suggest the Corruption of Champions prisoner expansion by feifongwong. It takes an earlier version of CoC (Right about when Fenoxo was working on the prairie if I recall correctly.) and tacks on a prison element, where you can get captured and made a slave. It's got a few good solid hours of story content, and if you play a lot of erotic games, you will see that quite of few of them copy a lot of the content in this expansion. Unfortunately it seems lost to time, never to make it past the first mission of level three. Cursed deserves to be on these lists if only because of the sheer size of it, though perhaps not quality of erotic content. It's been described as the first true magical TG life simulator, and it really is good, it just doesn't have many overtly erotic encounters. It's more about the daily grind of living with crazy TF's like hiding cat ears from your boss or trying not to piss of the crazy witch that transformed you, all while finding a job where you don't turn into a slut. Coming in the wake of cursed is the Elf Parlor, and Ideal Intentions. Both introduce some very solid mechanics, but are thus far in progress and don't feature much content. Masculine Mystique is an immense TG/ TF reactive story (I say reactive because CYOA or interactive fails to describe how immersive, and how responsive this game is.) set in a more realistic environment. None of the outlandish magic, and a ton of encounters. Despite it's relatively short length, it has more content than can be discovered in dozens of hours. It centers around a protagonists struggle with "The Process" at his new school, which changes the subject to match their physical and sexual ideal of male / female and dominance/ submission. Every tiny action changes the story in a unique way, and it features a ton of great hidden paths including everything from hypnosis, to chastity, to bondage, and more. This one focuses more on the usual less outlandish aspects of eroticism like... you know... making out and sex and exhibitionism stuff instead of wild and strange TF stuff. There's a ton of great little stories out there too that don't quite deserve the title "game." And I could make another equally large post just talking about that. But this is the best of the best in my opinion.

Yeah, it's better that way, both for companies, & for the general public. Too many minors these days do crazy things, when it comes to app stores, or microtransactions.

I'm very impressed with how much the author put into a Twine game. I shouldn't have started it so late last night.
Perhaps i could mention Flexible Survival. It's a game in a similar vein as Corruption of Champions in terms of gameplay at least. Not so much setting. Basically you have to survive/scavenge/fight your way through a nanite apocalypse for 30 days. The nanites in question turn people into sex-crazed human/animal hybrids of varying degrees(From Ferals to your typical catgirl). The nanites spread in a fairly inconsistent manner with some strains being able to be spread from just touching an infected individual and others requiring full on sexual contact. Most of the sex in the game is very rape/non-consent themed as much if it takes place if you are defeated in combat, or you defeat another when your libido is way up or your sanity is way down. Essentially you can turn into one of those sex-crazed human/animal hybrids. With that said, there are various NPC's that you can interact with that are sane and many of them you can have consensual sex with...although typically only at the end of a quest chain. It has a bit less polish than Fenoxo's games and the writing can be a bit hit and miss due to there being several authors, but there is a lot of content. I mean a lot of content. It's highly unlikely that you could go through and experience it all in one game and there are a few ways you can get different endings depending on what you do and what storylines you complete. There's a lot there if that's your thing. There's even options to turn off less favorable fetishes that may exist in some form within the game.
Oh yeah, Fenoxo. CoC and Trials In Tainted Space are really good games too. I also remember playing some ADRIFT (and another program I no longer remember the name of) games few years ago and there were some really good ones but I tried to look for them and couldn't find them now. ...And obviously most of the adult games suck like most of everything does. Finding the gems ain't always easy. Particularly there was a lack of good incest-themed games. I do remember someone called Vachon having made several really bad incest related adult video games.
I was tempted to try and create an adult interactive fiction game after playing the TADS game Moist Adventure (puzzles and find-special-objects to unlock scenes with girls in a castle), but then I discovered Chyoo: more creative reward for less struggle. Still, writing games appeals.
For what its worth, programs like Twine and Quest are both fairly easy to use (And are both free). And both have tutorials that are helpful in learning how to build your games. I've actually done (And am still doing) several projects using Twine, including a game version of Futa Apocalypse which is a story I originally started for this site then converted into a CHYOA format game. RAGS is another game maker, but I know significantly less about that one. I personally feel that ANYONE who feels the urge to try creating a game to pick up at least one of the above mentioned game makers (Quest probably has the best set of tutorials I've seen, but Twine seems to have a more helpful and involved community when you have questions. The simple stuff tends to be easier in Twine, while the more complicated code seems to be easier in Quest. Given the complexity of my "The Allure of Wanton Cove" game, I kind of wish I had started with Quest, but since I already knew Twine fairly well, I stuck with it instead. ) and take a few minutes to dabble. Who knows, you might decide you like making your own games.
