It all happened without warning. Strange lights appeared in the sky. They swirled and grew brighter until an innumerable number of planets appeared in the sky. The ground quaked and more lights bust out of the ground at a startling pace until all was blinded. The trembling grew and a cacophony of noise echoed through everyone's ears. It seemed to last for an eternity.

Eventually, the light faded and the quaking earth quieted. The seeming End of the World only took a few minutes. The shaking remained, but it slowed to a point where standing became possible again. Overhead, the strange lights had disappeared along with the planets that blotted out all else. In its place was a blue sky, the sun gleamed brightly in the afternoon sky. However, there was something off and it took a moment to realize that the sun was not the sun. What appeared in the sky was a sphere that radiated light much like the sun. It still radiated heat, but it was nowhere near as blinding to look at. It also seemed to be much closer to The Earth and thus much, much smaller.

By some odd coincidence, you all are spatially in the same location on your respective planes when the Convergence occurs. Whatever other companions you may have been with have either been flung to the far reaches, appeared elsewhere, or...who knows what happened to them? Those with mystic abilities find themselves feeling weak like a newborn. Specifically, @Auraicide Valleirea who was revered with the power of a goddess on her plane probably does not feel so good. Such feelings don't have any physical effects and will pass once she gets used to her new power level.

Looking around, you find yourselves in a valley surrounded by hills. There does not appear to be much of value here. A field stretches a distance in each direction before angling up hills. There are some young stalks of farm produce dotted occasionally throughout the tangled overgrown mess, but for the most part there is little here to talk about. Thick wooden poles travel across the center of the valley. @Daylan Vier will recognize these poles as above-ground power lines that were popular a few decades before your birth and were still used in some less developed parts of the world. However, to the rest they would seem to be odd wooden monoliths.

Velaelle had been taking a stroll through the gardens of her mansion while waiting for the arrival of the guest she had been planning to “negotiate” with. The guest in question was another elven noblewoman – a slut whose idea of negotiating was to get fucked silly, and if the person doing the fucking did a good enough job she would agree to almost anything. For that reason Velaelle had been looking forward to it... then something had happened, and now she was in the middle of nowhere, with people she had never seen before, and she was feeling weak and sick – almost certainly a side effect of whatever event had brought her here. This was definitely not how she had imagined the day would go...

“Hello, there. Does any of you have any idea what just happened, or where we are?” Velaelle attempted to start a conversation with the other people. Since she was feeling sick and needed some time to recover she decided to be polite and nice for the moment – at least until she had some idea where she was and what she was dealing with.

(Typo in the name of Vela's ability – it's misspelled as Domiant. Something to fix when she levels up.)

Cybele's training to keep her skills in top shape was interrupted by the strange lights, which seemed to envelop everything. She instinctively held both of her weapons at the ready, despite what her fellow warriors called "God's wrath." Cybele shrugged it off as something she could defeat. Only for the lights to blind her, albeit momentarily, as she now found herself in a different location. Along with a few other strangers. She immediately analyzed if they were hostile or not, keeping both of her spears in her hands. Even as the blond... elf? spoke. Hmm. I never would have expected to see one of their kind here. And there seemed to be two more?

Seeing no hostile intent in the blond's words, Cybele lowers her weapon. "No, all I know is that I was enveloped by a strange light. And the next thing I know, I'm here." She replied, surveying her surrounding closely.

"But aren't you pathetic? Trying to match me? Your species is little more than cattle to feed from. Just let cattle, you've been fattened up. Allowed to explore. Grow. All just for you to be eaten next. I am nothing like my siblings. I do not seek wars or any great empires. Like all creatures, I must eat. You harvest pigs. Cows. Chickens. All to be consumed and expendable because you see them beneath you on the chain of survival. You simply happen to be beneath me. Do you think that's unfair? Then pick up that sword, and prove your will to survive is stronger than mine. It's the law of the earth. And none are above it."

"You're a menace to all living thing! Our world will be cleansed of your evil and all of your brothers and sisters. This is the end!" With brashness in a young man's voice, he gripped his blade as it gave out a white heavenly glow, facing down the beast in the ruins. At his side, his companions. An elf woman carrying a tomb, a mature thief looking woman and the equally young, but brooding man standing far away from the party. They had worked to get to this point. This is it. Finally the turning point of overthrowing the reign of the demon gods.

"Heh. You couldn't guess at the number of people before you who said the exact same words. Kingdoms rise and fall. We still stand. And tomorrow, won't be any different." The tendrilled monstrosity, black tentacled mass began to converge into a single point, opening with them all honing a black cataclysmic energy into a sphere, ready to fire at the party as they combined the powers to summon forth a great golden light and then-

    *Clunk*

A stone from the castle tower feel. And then another. And... *bzzt*. Everyone's vision was suddenly skewed sideway and upside down, left and right, in a bluish and confused mess. "W-what kind of demon magic is this?" The young man was dazed as he tried to collect himself from the break in concentration. The tentacled mess was no longer firing as it's body seemed to flail wildly on it's own. "What did you do?" Both adversaries were in a dazed confused look, trying to understand what was going on as their vision began to crack up and distort. What was this?

"I won't let this be the end!"

"It's going to take more than a petty annoyance to end me!"

    "GRAAGGH!"

They both could barely see, not understanding what was going on or what the other one did, but refusing to surrender from the mysterious force providing interference, charging directly towards each other, ready to finish the other off.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The heat poured down, on a white haired girl, and her body gave a twist.

    "Ugrrrrhhh...."

Muscles weak. Faded. Slowly picking herself back up, she rose. "You didn't think I'd go down after just my first form, did you?"

Loudly, she readied herself for combat, the girlish voice sounding too innocently sweet for her way of talking. Just now, she noticed her surroundings. "Huh...wuh? Where is....here? Why is...what is..." She tried processing it, and everything going on. Clutching her fingers, she felt it. Human skin. She hadn't taken a human form in some time now. Taking a step forward, it was immediately followed with a "Wah!" as she fell face first into the dirt. "Stupid rock. Prepare to-ughm...wha?" She blinked. She tried to summon up her magic. Even a little. But...just nothing would come. She still felt some of her energy....maybe. She existed...but it was as if going from a bottomless well to the absolute last drop of the bucket and while the denial of her suddenly losing that much power came in, water began to well up in her eyes. She had never once been defeated. Never once so much as injured or lost at anything. So now, she knew what her response was. To cry.

While that was her initial thought process, when she finally heard other voices speak and became aware of the existence of peasants folks who probably found her lying in the fields in her human form, she had to curve her head over to look at them. "Hey! You there! Serving girl! How do you....do that?" Still barely able to pick herself up off the ground, she stared at the pair of woman and made a motion with her arms at their legs. "That...moving. With your...legs. Tell me at once!"

Stumbling to his feet, Vier dusted himself off and had a look around.

The young man with the slender build and wide, almost sparkling eyes, took in the sights above and around him with almost reverent wonder. "Whooooa, that was INCREDIBLE, whatever it was!" he exclaimed with what would probably be an unexpectedly joyous sounding laugh.

He had not been traveling with anyone before... whatever had happened just happened, so he was free to be unconcerned with such matters. "What is with that SUN?" he asked of nobody in particular, "And what's with this completely rustic looking area?!"

Vier was about to bound off in the direction of the power lines to see what more they might be able to tell him about the area... but then he noticed the people standing around him for the first time. His eyes somehow widened even more and his smile did the same as he chirped, "And where did this Super Sexy Babe Squad come from?!"

Valenya had been hunting a stag with some of her tribe when they came upon a particular stump in the forest. The group had pressed on in one direction, Val in the other sure she was on its trail. She'd come upon the animal when the lights illuminated the sky. She'd been dazzled by it while the stag fled. When it was over she found herself in the clearing with the others and, startled, immediately jumped back keeping the new group in view. Her hand already clutched her bow and her fingers instinctively reached for an arrow when the other elf woman spoke politely.

"W-who are yo..." Val herself was cut off by the flailing woman on the ground and cast her a quizzical look before the man spoke.

"And where did this Super Sexy Babe Squad come from?!"

Valenya blushed a little at the compliment.

"I-I'm Val," she tried to introduce herself, "I was hunting with my tribe. I-I don't know where we are..." she then looked at the helpless woman on the ground again. "Do you mean stand?"

Velaelle nodded to the first girl and was about to reply to her when she got interrupted by the other people there.
A flat “What.” was her only reaction to the white-haired girl's question and apparent inability to stand on her own.
The... man?... 's crude words prompted a second flat “What”.
“Nice to meet you, Val. I am lady Velaelle.” the noblewoman introduced herself to the elven woman – who, judging by her mention of tribes – was clearly from another world than her.

"That's a lot of lip, and not a lot of help." Valleirea scowled as she began to push herself up, trying to emulate the way of their walking. They made it look so easy. It's been so long since she had any reason to ever use a human form, that the motor skills to orient herself as one were a little hazy. But somehow, she managed to pull herself up off the dirt and dust herself. Her witch outfit remained. Good. At least she wasn't caught out in her more demonic forms.

Adjusting to her surroundings, she tried to think about it. That hero wannabe and his gang had probably gotten away then. She would need to even that out. The young looking girl stared at the group, trying to size them up. They seemed just about as confused as the situation as she was. But she'd help them anyway. "Well, the good news for you mortals is this is the best day of your life. You have the honor of meeting the great Valleirea." Folding her arms, she waited expectantly for them to react....but after a solid half minute of seeing her faces, she gave a frown. "...have you peasants never read a book? No matter. As a special reward for your service of retrieving my body from the castle, I accept your offer to be mayor of your village until it's time to rebuild my army."

Val felt the corners of her mouth tip up slightly, the other elf woman seemed pleasant enough and she briefly wondered if other elven tribes were nicer than hers. In any case her grip on her bow loosened if only slightly, but her fingers had stopped reaching for an arrow.

    "...Who?!" Valenya asked quizzically.

"Mayor?... W-what is that? Is that a human thing? I don't know that many humans, and I'm not sure I need their things."

Vier grins at Velaelle more directly. "You lot. Look at you all! Just saying you're all super hot so it's incredible you're all in the same spot!"

Vier looked around at the others as Valleirea spoke. "Village? I... don't think this is any village I've been in before, so I can't really put you in charge? How about the rest of you?"

As he speaks, he makes his way over to Valleirea's side, holding his arm out slightly so she can discreetly lean on it if need be. She couldn't even figure out walking a minute ago and, in his experience, women with her level of... confidence tended to be too proud to take support outright but might if it was offered in a more subtle form.

Cybele was at a complete loss as she saw how the people around her acted. But, she figured they meant no immediate harm. So, she unsummons her spears, causing a flash of red light to emit from her hands, which seemed to suck in her crimson weapons. Seeing how they began introducing themselves, "I am Cybele. One of the greatest warriors of Straza." She said in a confident tone, "Now... does anyone have any clues as to where we are?"

Well, he has good taste at least. Not really taking offence at the vulgarity, she saw him step closer and without really saying anything, she just leaned on him a slight bit for the first few steps until she managed to properly right herself, though she didn’t move too far away from him, clearly not willing to admit it, but expecting herself to stumble if she moved too far away.

    Frowning, she looked more confused.

“Mmm nope. I never heard of you or “Straza.” I’m a demon god. You think you can just make up countries and that will work? I’ve met more civilizations than historians have even wrote about. Unless...” She blinked, a theory popping into her head. At least the best she could think of right now to why even these peasants didn’t at least know who she was.

“How long was I asleep for? Two? Three centuries? Whose currently emperor of Darchia?”

Vier liked the feel of her body against his, even if it was for only a little bit and stayed close to her, matching her pace for the moment even as he took another look around to try and scan his surroundings. "I'm just kinda a wanderer," he said in response to Cybele's question, "but I can't say this is anywhere I've been before and it's probably not this Darchia place."

"Darchia?" Cybele repeated, as her years of being a soldier, she hasn't heard of such a place. And the fact that the "demon god" didn't know of Straza was also something. "So... this must be a different world then?" She said in a nonchalant tone, as she herself was unsure of her answer.

Velaelle rolled her eyes as she watched her new acquaintances. So far she was not impressed – her servants were clearly superior to any of them – but at least some of them were good-looking. More importantly, none of them seemed hostile, and there was safety in numbers, so for the moment she would stick with them.

“Well, everything so far indicates that we are in a different world, likely one none of us has visited previously. We seem to be stuck in the middle of nowhere for now, so the best course of action seems to be to look for signs of civilization, or at the very least a place to spend the night and take cover should it start raining. We also need to keep an eye out for food and water, because it looks like none of us has any supplies.” The noblewoman tried to get the rest of the people there to focus on the important stuff.

As the group speaks and discusses things, a quiet whir from above could be heard. This sound quickly became louder before it was nearly deafening. Looking up sees a large metal object flying at an angle towards the ground. It's cylindrical and made of white metal with rigid wings and a tail. Under the wings, four smaller cylinders billowing smoke could be seen. The entire underside of the unidentified flying object is engulfed in a pale blue flame. It flies overhead and angles to follow the line of power lines in the ground northward. For a moment, it looks like it might collide into the top of the hillside, but it does clear the top before disappearing out of sight. As it gets farther away, the whir which drowned out all other sounds also fades until a distant boom is heard.

@Daylan Vier would be able to recognize it as some sort of passenger aircraft.

"Well if we're just looking for houses and stuff," Vier said, nodding his head towards the wooden poles, "We should probably just follow the power lines. I mean, they gotta be tied into something, ri--"

He stopped as he heard the jet roaring over head, his jaw dropping as he saw the aircraft engulfed in flames. Following its path of decent with concern, he winced as he heard the distant sound of the crash. "... Or we can go check that for survivors."

"I concur, we should look for supplies." Cybele nods at Velaelle's suggestion, but as soon as something flew overhead. She instinctively ducks, summoning her spears. "What in the? A metal dragon?" Cybele said in a clearly excited tone. "It seems to be injured?" She added, just before the loud crash. "I doubt anyone can survive that, but I agree, we should check it out... and finish the jobnif necessary."

The deafening sound caused Velaelle to look up. She watched with interest as the object vanished from sight and a distant explosion was heard. What kind of a weird flying craft was that, and why was it so loud? Some of the nobles in her home world liked to experiment with magic and a few had successfully created enchanted objects that could fly, but none even half as loud as this one had been.

The man's words redirected her thoughts from her old world to the present. “Yes, checking for survivors might be a good idea.” She nodded in agreement.

It takes about 20 minutes to make your way up the hillside to get to the top. On the other side is a small town, maybe one that would house 2-4 thousand residents at most. A stream divides the town in half and looks rather picturesque with a fair amount of foliage lining the roadways. However, it is by far the weirdest mishmash of buildings that any of you have ever seen. Older-era thatched roof brick houses stand next to concrete-based modern houses and more futuristic metallic ones. most of them appear to be in various states of crumbling decay either from the quake or some appear to have been shunted into each other. The roads that go through the town transition from dirt to stone to asphalt at seemingly random intervals. Along the road mostly consists of metallic vehicles with rubber wheels and the occasional carriage. Of course, @Daylan Vier would know what a car is.

A few larger buildings are apparent farther into town. One on this side looks like it might be some kind of school and it's difficult to see what the others are from this far. Off to the east, in the field next to the town is a flaming ruin where the aircraft crashed with the ground.
