I noticed duplicate Tags showing up on my story "Head Leaper". I decided to delete any tags which appear more than once in the thread but duplicates are still showing up. Is there anyway to edit the story tags directly?
Beeble42, When I looked at what seemed to be duplicate tags, I saw a difference. While "Possession" is listed twice, the tags are slightly different. If you float over the link, you will find they are different. The difference is that one of them has a leading space, which is easy to miss. These two tags look the same as tags, but are different to Chyoo. " Possession" (which, in a web URL, ends up as chyoa.com/tag/+Possession ) "Possession" (which is what you probably expect: chyoa.com/tag/Possession ) It looks like some of your threads have " Possession" with a space, and some have "Possession" without. It might be a reasonable fix to Chyoo to trim leading and trailing space when entering tags, while still allowing space inside for a two-word tag. -Z.
Thank you. I thought that might be the case. I did try systematically removing the tags to see if they would go, I'll look at them again.
