I just published "You Only Live Twice", my attempt at writing a power fantasy-like erotic story. The goal is to make heavy use of variables so that the story reads almost like a dating sim visual novel, with every major decision locking out or opening branches. I figured I might as well make a post here for feedback, as this is one of my first adult stories. I would love to hear what I'm doing well and what I can improve on.
The premise reminds me of the kind of plot you would see from an anime or light novel. That's not a criticism, that's just my first reaction. Was that intentional?
I watch way too much anime, and have just started reading light novels. So that may have something to do with that, and it's definitely not a bad thing. Honestly if it wasn't too outrageous, I was tempted to title the story "That Time I Died from Underwhelming Causes and Got Reincarnated by a Mysterious God to Lose My Virginity and Maybe Become a Playboy/Playgirl".
