The silver sword digs deep into the creature's flesh, and it gives a roar. Turning quickly, the fiend slams Verena with one of its legs, and she goes flying backwards. Picking herself up, she feels that one of her ribs is broken. Looking forwards, the witcher sees the fiend looking at her, stamping the ground as it prepares to charge
She gasps and holds her Chest with a Hand. She quickly casts a Yrden trap in front of her and provokes the Creature.
The ice flies from Ard's hand, knocking the hunter backwards in his saddle and leaving him off guard. Isabella nods, and ice sprays from her hands to coat the ground, the sorceress apparently taking a page from the Wild Hunt's book. The horses slip, and go down with their riders. Trista's shockwave blows forward, knocking the rider out of his saddle. The huntsman, smaller than most of his kind, is able to roll acrombatically as he hits the ground, and is up in a moment, lifting his sword.
Lutz sees the elf's round ass in front of him as she licks her new mistress. "So, one more for the road, or should we get ready to take her with us?"
The beast springs forth as she finishes casting the sign, sprinting at the witcher. She manages to get out of the way, barely, and it's trapped for a moment as the sign begins to crackle.
Lutz blinked. "Us?" He asked surprised. Was he to go to some magical land. His head spun... his liege was insane!
Seizing the chance Varrin attacked the closer of the two fallen riders, trying to stab him through the slit in his helmet. If he could not get a clean enough strike he would aim for the rider's neck or another vulnerable part of the rider's armor. His goal was to kill the first enemy as quickly as possible, before the other one could recover and come to his ally's aid.
Verena supresses the Pain and makes a Run, jumping up and aiming to ram her Sword trough The Monsters skull.
"You wouldn't suggest that I'd go alone, would you?" She chuckles. "I can't get the troll through the city gates, so you'll have to do."
Varrin's sword slices through a chink in the armour. The noble gets the impression that he's wounded the man, but not killed him, but Isabella steps in to keep him off Varrin's back. This is useful, becaus the second elf rushes forward, swinging his mace at Varrin's head. Ard's sword collides with the huntsman's breastplate, but Hunt armour is evidently as quality as ever, and the sword bounces off, though it does glance up and deliver a non-fatal cut under the opponent's helmet. The rider reels around, pulling the reins to reengage.
Seeing three horsemen approaching, Mirellia figured they'll be taking on one each. And as her companions take the initiative, she copies the witcher, using the Aard sign to knock the rider off his horse.
Sprinting forward, Verena's able to send her silver blade forth into the eye of the fiend, but it retaliates with a headbut that sends the witcher on her back. Angrily, the monster raises its head, preparing to impale the witcher with its horns.
Ard pulled his own horse around, staring down his opposite number. He conjured another ice spell, as he spurred his horse once more. Though, this time he aimed for the enemy horse's legs as he unleashed the spell.
The black armoured rider, wielding an axe, flies backwards as he's surprised by the spell. He recovers quickly, though, a looming figure in the black armour.
Trusting his sister to finish off the first rider Varrin focused on the second one. Side-stepping the enemy's attack the young man slashed at the rider's hands with his sword, trying to wound – or at least disarm – the opponent.
Verena casts a strong Aard push that makes The Creatures head push upward. The quickly rolls Sideways and stabs into The Side of its neck, pulling the Sword trough his neck.
Seeing her opponent's heavy equipment, Mirellia uses her nimbleness to her advantage. She quickly gets into a stance, as she lunges to pierce the heavy elf's neck with her sword.
