Slashing at the huntsman's arm, Varrin is able to batter the man's hand away and leave him momentarily vulnerable.
Changing his aim Varrin thrust his sword at the slit in the man's helmet, hoping to kill or at least blind him.
Fueled partially by desperation, Verena's Aard spell forces the creature's head back, and allows her to get away. She's able to stab into its neck, blood pouring out as it reels back.
Ard rode over the rider, trampling him under his horse's hooves, before turning around and quickly dropping off from the saddle. Sword in hand, he closed in to end the attacker's life.
Gwyhyr pierces through the huntsman's neck, blood spraying to the side. In anger, the elf grabs Mirellia's neck in an armoured fist and squeezes.
Feeling her blade pierce through skin, Mirellia pushed it in deeper. Allowing the huntsman to grab her neck, "Ghh!" The sexy milf choked, but still acted quickly as she fired off another Aard right at the elf's chest, hoping to push him away.
The elf falls back as the sword goes through his eye. Behind Varrin, the second man is incinerated by Isabella's magic.
Even in armour, the elf is overwhelmed by the charing horse. As Ard approaches for a coup de grace, the man is helpless.
Ard finished off the rider quickly, with a stab through the neck. This was only the first small batch of attackers, he tried to get back on his horse and re-join the the defenders as fast as possible.
She makes some disrance between herself and the creature. It's badly wounded and she keeps avoiding it to tire it out, waiting to deliver A Deady blow.
Rubbing her neck, while she catches her breath. Mirellia makes sure the elf is dead, before looking around the battlefield as she searched for her next opponent.
Varrin stabbed the man's other eye for good measure and to make sure he was really dead, to looked around to access the situation and see if any more enemies were trying to attack him or his sisters. If the three of them were in no immediate danger he would also check how the rest of the battle was going.
"Surely, my lady, has other people who can serve as bodyguards?" Lutz tried. Why could he just not serve in the capacity he was meant to serve?
@Regin34 Looking around, Miriella, Varrin, Trista and Ard see that the second wave has crashed into the rear of the column. There, two Wild Hunt men move to finish off a royal guard. Near the front, Eredin and the king engage in a duel, swords and magic dancing rapidly as the two elves fight. Looking away for a moment, they spot a navigator standing away from the battle, near the middle of the column, his staff humming with power.
The fiend continues to lash out whenever Verena gets too close, but is good at presenting few openings for her to strike.
"This is too fucking much, this is too much" Trista repeat as the fight continues and more riders coming for them. She noticed navigator and point at him. "Guys, we have to take care of him! Come on, let's go after him!" She said swinging her sword.
Seeing the navigator's staff hum with power, Mirellia points toward him. "I take it that's a bad sign?" She said to the group, "But still, the elf king is also fighting. I don't know how the elf see a duel, but it'll be bad if they surround him." She then looks at Ard, "You help your king, we'll handle that mage."
Lutz hesitated. He really wanted to be back in his dungeon... One day he hoped to entertain Sophia's mother and her aunt, slowly break them... He shook his head to banish the thoughts. He could not refuse a direct order. "As you command my lady."
