"Hmh I see. Perhaps we should start with that and get You a Spear." She looks at The Bow in The corner, she found a while ago. "What about Archery?"
All the fighting was starting to take its toll on Varrin, but allowing Eredin to escape was too risky – there was no telling what he would do in retaliation for this defeat. Thus the young nobleman gritted his teeth, gripped his sword tightly, and chased after the fleeing elf in an attempt to prevent his escape. If necessary he would cut the horse's legs to keep Eredin from getting away. @asddas193
@Tjf "Nnh." Mirellia groaned, though she hasn't suffered any serious damage, she was never one for prolonged battles. But seeing the young man run toward the wild hunt king, she decides to follow after him. With a sword in her right hand, and her left hand ready to use her Aard sign at a moments notice. She dashes toward Eredin in an attempt to prevent his retreat.
"Surrender." Mirellia said as she gets in an aggressive stance, "You've lost, and your coup attempt has been foiled."
"Sure. The whole area around the town is woodland, with clearings." She nods. "We should have privacy without too muc threat of monster attacks."
"Allright then, grab what You need and lets get going then" She walks out and waits outside of The Inn.
“So be it!” Varrin moved a bit so that Eredin was between him and the MILF, then attacked with several quick thrusts. The attacks would likely do little damage, but that wasn't the goal anyway. He was trying to keep Eredin occupied and unable to use magic, and hopefully it would also leave the elf exposed to an attack by Mirellia. @asddas193
@asddas193 The elf, even wounded, blocks Varrin's attacks without strain, but at the end of the noble's flurry, Mirellia sees him overextend and expose his neck.
Seeing his exposed neck, Mirellia immediately takes her chance. She lunges toward them using all her strength, hoping to pierce the wild hunt king's neck.
She heads to The Edge of The Forest with her. She takes a long stick and sharpens it with Her Dagger, handing it to her. "Show Me how You move with it..."
@moonblack Gwyhyr sings as it pierces through the air and into the gap below Eredin's helmet. The magical steel sinks into his neck, and he lets out a disbelieving grunt. The king of the Wild Hunt moves forward in a fury, his sword slashing powerfully as, enraged, he attacks to get revenge against his opponents, but as he knocks away Varrin and Mirellia's blades, ready for the finishing blows, he collapses forwards, and stops moving. Exhausted, the two nobles see that they've finished the usurper. @Regin34 @unisol_gr44 Looking around, Trista and Ard see that the remaining huntsmen are being finished off, only a handful making it to their horses to escape. Though many royal guards have died, the battle is won. Afterwards, the king sets up a small camp at the top of Eyvari's Point, overlooking the area as his men clean the battlefield and hunt down the routers. Looking at the group, he regards them with Madeline at his side. "So, you wish to return to your home, you said? You have earned it. Ard, you will be retaking your place as head of your family? And you two," he points to Varrin and Isabella "while I'm loathe to return her, you've earned your sister back." Looking at Mirellia and Trista, he nods his head. "You two will be provided with a gift each from my personal stores, before you return, as thanks for your effort."
Swinging the stick around, the blonde puts on a pretty amateurish display, telegraphing her strikes in big, overlong swings that take too long, use up too much energy, and do too little damage. When she stabs with the implement, however, Verena notes that she moves fast and accurately, her thrusts potentially lethal if used against an unarmoured opponent.
She demonstrates with swift moves and twirls of The stick. "Its not a blade. You can use everything. The pointy End, The blunt one and even The shaft. A well aimed strike always staggers a Normal opponent." She hands it back
