Looking through the reports of what's happening on the planet, it's a little difficult to piece together the true situation. Officially, the planet has declared itself to be a democracy, but in reality it's more chaotic than that, with three loose factions vying for power: The oligarchists, nobles who seek to ensure that the planet is ruled by a council of the 'best people', the Purifiers, who seek that the planet be brought into the domain of the Church, and the Utopians, who run a gamut between those who want a well run, functioning democracy, to those who want complete anarchy with no government at all. After reading, she hears a message that the ship is approaching its destination.

Alexandros chuckles. "You offer me much, but you come here with my sister in chains, mentally. I can feel the way you've bored into her mind. How can I trust that you won't do the same to me? While I'm at it, why should I not just enslave you here and now, and take those beauties myself?"
