My chapter names are usually pretty utilitarian, but two I'm kind of proud of from my thread on Fantasy Dynasty: - Marissa Explains It All (Our protagonist is informed by his mother that his grandfather is a demon king that once ruled half the continent) - How I Bred Your Mothers (Edward breeds both his aunts at a meeting of said demon king's cult) Kind of lowkey determined to keep the thread going, have some of the other other chapters that advance the demon cult story thread be named after sitcoms in a really groaning fashion.
The only chapter title of mine I would call clever is from Chyoa NaNoWriMo 2020: Rated Ex-Ex-Ex Where a man discovers there are subliminal images imbedded in his room’s television and they are all manipulated pictures of his exes.
I mean honestly I don't have many silly or strange chapter names... I save that for the bad end names which are almost all terrible puns or extremely dark jokes, but I guess I do have two titles that are amusing/wtf "What the hell kind of name is Min Koskei?" and one of the potential chapters immediately following it "I hope your child dies" Other than that, most of the titles for my stories are just fairly generic "She goes to work," I mean there are two that are "Punch that stupid face" or "Kiss that stupid face" which is fun.
On another site I had a rather stupid habit for writing "[x] gets naked...for some reason." In retrospect they're pretty dumb, but I always search for porn with the word 'naked' so eh.
Mine are usually pretty straightforward but sometimes I get creative if I don’t know what else to call it. Like The Cummings for my Lydia branch under Video Game ENP
Also I gotta admit, I usually don’t remember most of my chapter titles. I just remember what is in them. So there’s probably weirder one’s out there. Especially under Lauren’s Little Secret.
