Anyone ever done an "advice for writing your first CHYOA story" thread before?

To specifically addressing new users, an automatic message after registration might be useful.
It could contain links to the CHYOA Guide and its Community Resources chapter.

Don't be in a rush to post new chapters a good proofread will help to catch any annoying mistakes.

I have learned: if you think it might need a disclaimer, put one. It’s better to have your grounds covered than be liable later.

even if you personally don’t think it’s a big deal, someone else might and it’s better to prep them first than here the Yelp review later (i’m making an analogy, don’t take it literally)

I will tell you. I did not know that the forum was a thing until I actually clicked on the link. I thought it was just something integrated on the main site, not an actual individual fucking forum. So yeah, might be best to have it somewhere that’s not just the bottom of the site or buried under the side bar . Maybe it could be under the menu where you add a new message/story.
