Well, if Lindsey and Susan are gonna read Lois Lane's Night Out, you'll need to opt for Masochism Mode. I don't wanna be in violation of the rules.
I hereby opt in for Masochism Mode. Pick a path, any path. Dark gods know there's enough to go around.
This is such a fun concept, and I'd pay money to have anyone read my stories and say anything about them. I'm not sure which story would be best (or worst), but I suppose it would be my branch of the Affection Multiplier? Zach Pritchard, an IT worker at a health facility where 90% of his coworkers are women (wilparu) - The Affection Multiplier — CHYOA Or, if the ladies prefer, some madcap magical incest nonsense, I have a story for that too! This Is My Broke College Student Costume [wilparu] - Spooky Scary Sisters — CHYOA
As much as the girls would enjoy Findom, I have my standards. Oh fuck, that's actually a pretty hard choice. Affection Multiplier is the second most popular story on the site, so I feel I have to cover it just because of that. Buuut, I always wanted to feature a scary story. I will opt for Affection Multiplier, but I might do the spooky story later on anyways
Little disappointing... I'm not gonna lie when I say the idea of seeing Marcie and Gina reading it when I finish Emily's day one was part of my primary motivation... Oh well guess I'll have to be motivated by the idea of finishing the whole story or at least complete paths for that motivation...
My big issue with doing it in parts, is that I feel it becomes more a recap instead of a review. But as Gina said in the last Becoming a Warrior part, maybe I'm overthinking it. I know many wouldn't mind me doing multiple parts on their stories.
I mean it's absolutely fine. If you want to wait until I finish a path completely that's fine! It's your review system and I am more than happy to accomodate however you wish to do it.
I see @Gambio is figuring out that one of the issues with having a massive branching story is that very often, many of the branches are unfinished. I'm working on it!
Ha, don't worry you aren't the first time I encountered this. fucking @DeviantChalice was way worse at it.
If you want a longer path without cheating, you can start at the beginning and just keep clicking the first option all the way down. That's probably less fun, but it's 29 straight chapters - there are only three branches that are longer - and plenty of deviations along the way if you get bored or squicked.
Random fun fact that I totally have no intention of doing anything with, but Gambio's Kanami story is 11 chapters deep at it's deepest point now >.>
It's definitely the Gambio story I'm planning to review if I decide to. It's definitely the one of his I'm enjoying the most so far as much as I enjoyed Hard Candy.
Good to know that it appears to be established canon that all my stories are free use lol Glad to hear it! It's probably too much comedy for most people here, so its nice to know that some appreciate the nonsense.
Are they not free use? If not can I have permission to review Kanami? Obviously you can withhold permission until it's more completed if you'd like.
I'm feeling very ambivalent about this statement Nah, it would be pretty hypocritical to withold my stories. I considered putting my own name down for Masochist Mode, but that would conflict with the rules, since Marcie and Gina haven't reviewed one of my own stories yet. But yeah, no worry my stories are all fair game.
Since spotting this story a few days back, I've gone back and forth about whether I wanted to offer one of my stories up for the queue. I was very close to asking if you were interested in doing your thing with my original project, the "Prince Wanted" stories? Ultimately I decided that would be a cruel joke to play on the not insignificant amount of my readers who would very much prefer that I go back to updating that story instead of my current work. So yeah, how about my current project, then? Touched by Magic is nearing a hundred chapters and is closing in on 200K words at this point, but it could still be charitably described as a "hidden gem". I started it with the intent of making a cheap Items of Power type rip off, but somehow ended up at the helm of a fetishy YA novel series. If your interested, I'd be quite pleased to read an unkind takedown of the main story path.
