I just found your story, a friend of mine (wilparu) just brought it to my attention. I've now spent all day reading over some of the reviews and just need to say I love it. So obviously the next thought was that I wanted in, but then I realized I would need to pick a story to be submitted. Which feels a little like trying to pick a favorite child. So if it's okay I might just give a short run down of some of them and let Marcie and Gina (or Gambio) pick? Squirtle branch in Pokeslut is my biggest story. It's a long one currently sitting at 150 chapters. It has a few dead end paths early on and a "bad ending" about 50 chapters in. It is pokemon fanfiction and currently unfinished. Close to my Aunt is my pet project. The story is still very early in what I have planned for it, I've been taking my time trying to not rush it. It's a lesbian incest tale of a girl discovering herself while forming an attraction to her Aunt (they are nearly the same age). Sarckle's Spooktacular: Monsters in the Park is a game mode story. It was my project for Halloween last year. It is unfinished but does feature 6 endings and the only non-ending dead end is where I plan on picking it back up come October. It features a variety of monsters from werewolves to gnomes to a troll to vampires, with a handful of more sections to come later this year. Hero Academia: The Civilian Superpowers features a Quirkless branch that I wrote. It is My Hero Academia fanfiction featuring a quirkless OC's love story with Ragdoll of the Wild, Wild Pussycats. It is a finished story, and also one of my very few male POVs. It was originally written for another story (Holding Out for a . . .) but was moved to its new home here when the other story was locked, which is why it has such low likes. Relatively Short Stories It is a collection of incest short stories (my entries have [Sarckle] in the titles). I debated suggesting this one because while none of my 4 completed stories are over the 10 chapter rule on their own they do add up to (27) being over it within the confines of the collection. I'm not sure how that falls under that rule since they are only 6-7 chapters a piece. I don't post a lot on the forums so *fingers crossed* hopefully I did all the links correctly. If not, they're all on my author page on CHYOA. Obviously, I wouldn't mind all of them being reviewed but that also sounds greedy to be requesting 5, but I really struggled to pick just one. (And honestly I only have 2 more stories on the site so I didn't even do a good job narrowing it down.) So if any of them catch Marcie or Gina's eyes...
I like Sarckle's stuff a lot and my personal fav is 'Memories of Grandma' in the Relatively Short Stories collection but it's only 8 chapters long but Sarckle's Spooktacular: Monsters in the Park is excellent and super fun. Also a crazy amount of variety.
I still want to read some spooky stuff, so this is a fairly easy pick for me, lol I have no qualms featuring multiple stories from the same author, altough there are some rules to it, to prevent any particular author from clogging up the backlog 1)Only one story from the same author can be in the backlog at any given time 2) There must be at least one story inbetween, so the same author isn't featured back to back
Awesome! Can't wait to see Marcie and Rina read my Spooktacular. Those rules seem reasonable, I wouldn't want to monopolize the story anyways. Masochist Mode sounds interesting, I might be open to others reviewing my stuff too. I'm not sure who I'd use along side Holly though.
Oh, Masochist mode would just mean you are opting in to get your stuff reviewed from more people. You don't have to review anything yourself. But you have to wait until my segment is out for that one anyway.
Oh for sure I get that. I gotta wait for my review to be out, I was just already looking ahead. And I get that I don't have to review but it does look fun plus gives me a reason to read, I seem to read better when I have a reason to, otherwise I wind up doing other stuff.
weirdly enough, I share that sentiment. I really don't think I would have checked a fraction of the stories on Marcie&Gina otherwise, but I'm having a blast doing it this way.
