Take note of those that walked out. Make sure the people that collect the taxes can defend, and deal with their men. Try not to kill them, unless necesarry. Vizelle sent a telepathic order to her men, before smiling at those who remained, both the ones that submitted, and resisted her demands. She nods at Lian again, signalling her to hand out the benefits to those that swore fealty. "And to those of you who accepted my reign." She said, not really minding if those that resisted took a peek. It basically detailed how much more business they can do, the profits they'll obtain, along with security befitting a large organization like Vizelle's could provide.
"And what if someone else comes along, to do to you what you did to Markus?" One man, a spokesman for the gangsters, pipes up. "You can guarantee stability?"
"Fufufu." Vizelle giggles, "Marcus was complacent. He was happy with his current position. While I on the other hand strive for the top. There will only be two ways to stop me. Either they kill me, or I rule everything." She said in a confident tone, "Now all you need to do is ask yourself. Will you join the rising tide? Or will you drown under the waves of my ambition?"
“Well, it has been a pleasure meeting you. I am glad things went as well as they did, and I look forward to seeing you again later, Lady Ahn.” Eanne watched her guest - and new servant – leave, then went back to her quarters to write a report for the Emperor, informing him of what had happened. She also sent a message to madam Dubernay to let her know what she had discovered – the madam would likely hear about it anyway. Then she called Bec over. “Well, this has been quite the day, hasn't it.” She chuckled. “Being a member of the Emperor's council has been quite eventful. I think it is time I take a break and see how things are going back home. Begin preparing to head back to Samodiva in a day or two, after Miriam has been returned and after I have spoken with Sitra.” She instructed.
There's a wave of quiet, as the criminals look among themselves. "Yeah. We're with you." He sits back down.
One month later: What seemed like a quick report turned into a solid month of hard work, as an assassination attempt of the emperor and the rest of the council took place. Luckily, he and the council survived, but Eanne's been up to her ears in work. In the meantime, Ahn made good on her promises, delivering her contact list and safely unfreezing Miriam, who after a period of medically mandated rest, now has resumed her post as a maid. With a sigh, Eanne sends off one final order, before relaxing, knowing that with the crisis dealt with conclusively, she now has time to rest and recuperate.
"Wonderful choice." Vizelle grins, "Once again. I welcome you to our ranks." She hummed, looking at Lian and Jetts. "I'll leave it to you two to do the accounting." Then at Xi Fei, and Wen, "As for you two, do see where their men will fit." And make sure there's no spies among them. The telepathic message was more for the young man, in charge of their counter-intelligence. "Now then, do you have any other concerns?" Vizelle asked, and if there were none, she dismisses the council.
“Finally! I f I ever get my hands on whoever is responsible for this mess I will strangle them to death!” Eanne exclaimed as she finished her work. After a brief rest she sent a message to Sitra, inviting her for a chat over dinner later that day, then called for Miriam to bring her a drink.
Sitra's response is rapid and characteristically cheery, informing Eanne that she'd love to come over. Miriam is almost as fast, bringing a refreshing drink over and bowing as she hands it over, eyes roving over her mistress' body. "I-uh, thank you, for saving me, ma'am."
“Thank you, Miriam,” Eanne smiled at the maid and took a sip of her drink, then took a deep breath that helped emphasize her large breasts. “No need to thank me, my dear. In fact, I think I should apologize for not realizing sooner that something had happened to you. I will try to be more attentive in the future.” She promised before taking another sip and another deep breath. “Enjoying the view?” She asked with a smirk as she watched the maid ogle her.
Realising she's been caught out, Miriam tears her eyes away, looking straight ahead. "S-Sorry, ma'am!"
Eanne giggled and got up. “No need to apologize, I don't mind. Fell free to look all you like, as long as it does not get in the way of your duties.” Reaching with her hand she touched Miriam's face and turned the maid to look at her. “In fact, I was thinking... would you like to be my personal maid?”
Given permission, Miriam looks at Eanne's cleavage with undisguised interest. "P-Personal maid? What does-, nevermind, yes I would!" She nods excitedly.
“Yes, my personal maid.” Eanne smiled warmly, then pulled Miriam closer and kissed her gently on the lips. “That means you get to take care of all my needs – both in and out of the bedroom... of course, it also comes with some limitations, such as no sex with other people without my permission, occasionally having to watch me have sex with other women while you can't join, or having to service my future wife, when I get married... I am sorry, but you can't be more than a maid, at least not officially – I'm sure you understand why... But if you are alright with that, then I will be happy to have you as my personal maid and unofficial concubine...” She kissed her again, then waited to see Miriam's reaction.
"Oh, um..." She seems disappointed at the 'no more than a maid' part, but is nonetheless excited, lighting up at the kisses. "I'd love to be your personal maid."
“I realize that you are disappointed you can't be more than my maid and concubine, but it can't be helped – as a noble I have responsibilities that must come first. Besides, you were already kidnapped when you were just one of my regular servants – making you my personal maid will surely make you a target for unscrupulous people. If you were to officially become something more... I'm sure you can see what I am getting at.” Eanne gave the young woman an apologetic smile. “But enough with the unpleasant stuff. Effective immediately you are my personal maid, and your first task is to help me with my bath. I have a guest coming to dinner tonight, so I need to prepare.” She declared, not mentioning that they would be doing more than just bathing. A little appetizer before dinner won't hurt... I wonder what cute sounds Miriam will make as I eat her out? She thought as she kissed her maid again, this time a lot more passionately.
Vladimir risked a glance back at the chapter he brought with him to see how they'd fared before he opened his comm channel. "Legate Noapte to Sixth Chapter, rally on me and push them back to the gate." he waited for confirmation from the company captains before he switched the channel again. "Legate Noapte to Endless Night, we have a demon gate here. Have Mother Selene battle ready and send her down here. We'll need her to close this gate." With his orders issued, Vladimir readied himself again and made a slow, predator's walk, towards the demon horde. A sinister smile on his face as he anticipated the slaughter.
Miriam sighs into the kiss, her arms reaching around to caress Eanne's body. "Yes, ma'am. Let's go clean you up." She smiles.
Looking back, he sees that, besides those killed by the demon lord's hammer all of his eternal warriors are still intact. He receives confirmation that Selene will be on her way down to the planet. Spoiler: Vladimir's Combat Roll D100: 69+15=84 Charging forth, Vladimir and his men begin to carve through the horde, their numbers no match for the greater ability of the eternal warriors.
“Yes, let's.” Eanne smiled as she took Miriam by the hand and led her toward the bath. “Let me help you with your clothes and then you can help me with mine.” She suggested as she began undressing the maid once they got there.
