Ahh, so the angels can hear us... Whoops. Good job with the fire and i agree with a quick rest.

Is it worth the "consequence" to enter the Pure Men only room to see if theres anything? Because wrestling an angel that could snap us in two seems like a questionable idea. Best thought i have is strength matters less when you grapple someone from behind, so with adrenaline and energize maybe you could quickly grab it from behind and pin it's arms behind it's back.

This insane amount of luck has me worried that thinks quickly turn sour once permadeath gets activated

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Good job winning against the angel, Yulia. I do found the usage of the adrenaline a bit excessive here, but at the very least we now know that buffs can stack. Make sure to use the last vial of adrenaline only in an emergency.

Now as for the angel, obviously we are going to keep her. She is probably not very useful now that she lost all of her powers, but you can think of her as pet

    question for the angel:

what's your name? If we have to keep calling you angel things will just get annoying

You said you lost your power, but is there anything you are good at? We do have a spare weapon after all.

What would happen if we sent you in the pure men room?

Any info on the captive guy in the room prior?

Yulia, do me a favor and cast energize on Angel. I want to see if we can buff her as well.

Next, take another rest to get your mana back up. Angel can join you. It's best if you get intimate, so you are better attuned to each other...yes.

I can't commit to the fight against OTG just yet. I do think we should ultimately fight him, but I'd like to have these questions answered first.

I will say.. For the most part... Unless the voices make really bad decisions, permadeath will never be based entirely on luck, but also yeah... Yulia's luck is insane! Maybe she really does have a god looking out for her XD

Yulia, I feel I've come to know you, at least a little. So let me offer some advice.
Offer this as a choice, and demand she makes the choice she wants. She can help you through the tower, or as far as she wants to go, OR she can stay here and continue as if nothing happened, save for the fact that she is liberated from her one weakness by being 'yours'. Be kind no matter what she chooses, as I know you can be. I think an ally would help you, but I don't think you want to put someone under your thumb who would be unwilling to be there.

I like angels AND demons. They're both neat to me, these angels are different from what I'm usually used to, and I love them . so I'd like to see them happy. Besides, you chose the Light path, wouldn't it be in your best interest to be as fair and diplomatic as possible?

Good questions, only other question i would have is, how were you bestowed this power? Could Yulia return your power in exchange for help through the tower?

Otherwise this is great! Someone (hopefully) less rapey to watch over us when we need rest. If the Angel just wants to maintain the camp thats already very useful.

I agree figure out the angel situation before the boss.

I mean there are plenty of similar titles out there, but I wasn't referencing anything in particular.

While that is a tempting offer from Dreg, I have to decline. Knowing Yulia she wold feel utterly awful subjecting Cherchiel to this

I am happy, you put your foot down on this one, Yulia

That is an interesting tidbit about the priest chambers.

We could certainly risk it, but this would most likely result in Yulia having to kill a bunch of more or less innocent people.

I personally vote no. We should not abandon our morals in the pursuit of power.

That indeed only leaves us with the floor' boss to deal with.

I'd say it's time to face him. For now just enter the boss door.

Don't energize just yet, with a cost of 25% that's a steep price to pay and we have to see what we are dealing with first.

Welcome aboard Cherchiel! We'll try and protect you as we have with Yulia. Unfortunately we don't have a weapon right now, we can get one at the store next floor or even a spell if possible.

So we want to fight the boss who created these strong angels... Blind... Not a good idea. We need a weakness, so unless Cherchiel here knows that, i think it is wise to enter the pure men door. The knowledge boon may well be the secret to the one gods defeat. If we lose to the one god with Cherchiel present, well that may be the end of her journey... The Chosen was guaranteed some "safety", but our angel friend is not.

For now we could give Cherchiel the Halo and arrows i guess, sharp stick better than nothing right.? Then for Cherchiel, do you think it's possible to win the pure men room. If the odds are not 0, then i say we assult the mens room and hopefully learn how to defeat the one god.

I hate to do this to my fellow "voices" but I have to say going into the men's room, while tantalizing for some, will be too dangerous. We have seen what happens to our dear Yulia when she gets hurt or demotivated, her Mana and Energy plummet, and her being a mage I hate to have her take risky leaps into the semi-unknown. Seeing as the only thing we know about 'de-sanctifying' the pure-men room with Yulia's presence is there will be 'retributions' doled out by the high priest, I can guess if we lost Yulia would be highly demotivated. So I guess, my opinion is no, but If Yulia thinks she could do it after seeing just what kind of forces would be inside, and thinks she could do it, I'd change my vote to a yes. Also of course if our new angel friend knows just how many men or who's inside, information would be appreciated.

I admittedly don't know much bout the one true god. Despite being here I've somehow failed to retain anything useful? Sorry, no clue how to help you there.

Maybe you could nail up his son? Went well for us.
That is a joke don't do that.

Oh also since someone else said it, I have a firm don't offer Cherchiel up Policy. Or at least I hope you would too. I like Angels.

Well, this is certainly a proper point of no return

But ultimately, I keep my vote, yes it is time to face the dungeon boss.

Altough, I suppose I have one change.

Put the Halo on Cherchiel. This will ensure her survival. As this dungeon boss will be unable to kill you that seems like an adequate compromise

At the very least halo on Cherchiel.

However i stand by what i said last time. In the previous floor the boon we got from the food helped us win against the boss. This time we know where the boon is on this floor and we're just going to pass it by?! I say we need to go to the pure men room and get every advantage we can get.

Sorry man in the cage... literally every iteration of man in a tiny prison ends with world destruction (that i know of).

    Regardless of which fight:
Cherchiel is on defense with an arrow as a weapon (maybe rapier if Yulias magic can last).
    Yulia use energize on Cherchiel.
Yulia use all you mana reserves on ranged damage.
Once mana is gone go in with the rapier.

    You both are adorable!

I have to agree with the voice that spoke before me. They make a good point, let us go to the pure men room and take every advantage. Cherchiel, and they, are right. If we can't take out the priest, we can't take out the god anyways. Also I like the previous voice's battle plans, follow those. Sorry Gambio, no offense to you of course.

Cherchiel, you keep Yulia safe, I like her and want to see you both go very far and keep being adorable together!

Looks like i was outvoted, very well. Lets do all the sidequests first.

This seems like a fairly simple affair, cast energize on yourself and then keep your opponent at bay with your rapier. He appears to want to fight barehanded, so you already have the advantage when it comes to reach.

Since he is naked(?) feel free to hit him with an Icicle when the opportunity arises, that should do decent damage as well.

My main worry is that we have to keep him alive for that boon of information, but I rather not have us be deterred by that. Let's kick his ass and ask questions later.

Usually I would suggest for Cherchiel to strip to distract the guy...but I have a feeling that might only distract you more.

I mean he is basically naked. He has underwear on, but nothing else.

    Yay sidequests!

Well i'd like to say fight as a group, but a lack of aoe means we'd probably lose. For the 1v1, energize yourself and do what you do best. Stay at poking distance and trade hits and heal. Being a priest, there is a chance he can heal as well, but that just means it will be a long fight.

Not sure if we need to keep him alive for the boon, might be magical. But this is not a "monster" so don't feel the need to kill him, just don't go easy on him.
