Well, may as well use one of the things I had on the back burner. Few edits to things though. NAME Katherine D’Rosyelenn Amuree/ Violet Butterfly [Sadly this is apparently a one off comic character so there’s not a lot of good art available for her] Details: Already born to a more than wealthy enough family, what drew her to a life of crime wasn’t out of desperation, but rather, her drawn by the romanticization of legendary thieves and rogue like figures. Mainly motivated by the infamy, Katherine doesn't do "Easy scores." Her need to draw attention to herself so other people can know how good of a thief she is, typically leaves her with not many willing partners who want to get dragged in with her "playing pretend." Nobody would consider her unskilled or incompetent, but most know better than the risks of leaving any traces of your existence, however small. This generally leaves her temporary friends at best and isn't such a widely popular figure to the law or even other criminals. In her day to day life, she puts her schooling to use in her family's tech company. Pretty well known for being quite generous with her money and too good causes, it's not an act. She is more than willing to share monetary wealth. Treasures on the other hand, and more tangible things like artifacts are what she enjoys to hoard for her collection, only really inclined to auction them or sell them once her trophy room starts to get too full. Reason for seeking the lost city: To seek out whatever's rare and valuable. Skills(Hard to decide on just two. Might change.): Dexterity 2: Running across rooftops isn't exactly practical for a professional thief, but it's still a lot more fun. However, regular training to stay in shape and have fast hands are invaluable skills. Electronics 2: Being capable with technology comes with part of the job. From hacking, to disabling alarms, or setting up cameras. Getting good with modern tools is part of the key to success. Engineering: While more focused on circuitry, she’s not inept with mechanics and other machinery by any means. Flaws: Attention Whore: Katherine is a good thief, but she needs everyone to know how good she is and always needs to leave some type of hint or clue behind her actions. She knows better than to advertise her presence during every step of her goal, but as soon as she feels confident in her success, her compulsion to taunt her rivals will come up. For mundane tasks like driving a car, or do something as simple as unlocking a door isn't going to have her make a production out of it, but whether it's right after stealing the gem behind that door, or two weeks down the line, she will have to show off to someone and can never just not have her opponents know what she did. If she frames someone as a diversion, it's only ever in the short term before she can take the credit. Brat: Being used to a certain level of class her whole life, she is not good with the idea of "roughing it." Eating gross foods just to get by, sleeping outside, or things like wading through sewers require more than a bit of mental concertation. She'll survive a rundown warehouse or just being in an alleyway, if not a bit uncomfortable, but really needs to think about it before looting dead bodies if they're messy or touching rocks covered with bugs. (Loses focus when faced with swallowing her upbringing to do "gross" tasks.) Egotist: Due to her need to be the star of the show, she has difficulty at lying about her identity or not trying to clue people in to what she's up to. Nothing stops her from outright lying, though the temptation is always there. (Struggles to impersonate anyone other than her civilian identity or deny her role as thief.) Equipment: Master Thief Tools: A proper thief is never far from their tools and has an answer to just about anything. Lightweight and easy to hide, she seems to be able to pull things out of almost nowhere. Obviously, she can only make sudden pulls to things she can fit. A crowbar is a common tool, but a little too difficult to carry around. While it doesn't look like it, her thief getup contains loads and loads of pockets. While not wearing it, she of course, still has a number of things. As a rule, she'll stick to what a person might reasonably and legally carry. A mirror, screwdriver, pliers, nail clippers, hairpin, are all on the table, and while it's not as if she's incapable of having a gun, it's not a thing she'd regularly just happen to have. Spoiled: She personally, has no shortage of money to spare to fund her life. With her looks, and intelligence she was practically a born winner. At least, that's what all the maids and butlers said. If a life of leisure has given her any problems, after being told she was special for much of her life, if she ever makes a mistake, she will refuse to acknowledge it or ever admit to it. Good so far. Just a few questions: so dominant is basically a charisma buff, when she's trying to persuade people? And self defence, I'm assuming that's a hand to hand skill?
Self Defense is basically close quarters combat, whether armed or unarmed. I suppose it could help a bit with dodging when someone is shooting at her, but it certainly won't help with her shooting at people. Dominant (the flaw) would be a Charisma debuff when she is trying to persuade someone instead of dominating that person, as she would rather dominate than negotiate.
