So thats a maybe on crazy plan#2, got it. Thank you for the explanations Cherchiel. Side question... What happens if we lose the virginity pass? Can we just leave this dungeon without a fight at all since we have nothing the god wants? If theres no negatives to losing the virginity pass then we may as well try the plan as we're already down, we need something or we just surrender... Which i still think is a one way trip to nunhood unless its by proxy. If we do lose the pass and it means stuck on this floor or worse... Then i'm conflicted and feel we're in a lose lose situation. My condensed thoughts: Fight god, win, Great! Fight god, lose, Nun? Give virginity, Nun? Open cage, guy destroys tower, bad. Open cage, actually nice guy, learn the gods weakness, can we utilize it? Open cage, rape dude, lose pass, death??
Yeah, I propose a change to the plan. See if his advice is so good, you could, and definitely should, cure him of the poison AFTER you beat the one true god. I mean if his advice is good, he has nothbing to fear. I know this isn't like my usual demeanor, but there's far too much on the line to let him go free so quickly.
If the guy is truly serving the OTG why would he give us advise on how to kill him? I don't trust this guy, so far this floor has been fair. Do a certain thing, get a certain reward. Our prisoner might very well say the truth, but we have no way to ascertain that. In that sense this advice is completely useless. Since I didn't want anything to do with this guy from the beginning, my vote goes to kill him.
Ughhh, i'm the worst person to ask. I want to give him the antidote. He held up his end of the bargain and told us what we needed... I trust too much to do otherwise. In his defense he doesn't have the visor so he's (maybe) not empowered to attack. That knowledge... If its the truth... Would put us back on even'ish footing with the god. Angel dude, do you know if the weakened god can cast spells like the priests? Would empower be a good idea?
Black armor, Black wings. Mmh... A fallen perhaps? Fallen do serve their gods by being examples. But it could be he's just a death angel, or a completely normal angel. Or like he said, it's all a lie, and his appearance is to make that lie more convincing. Either way, I'll make a tiered vote for myself. Give him the poison's antidote after. Give him the poison's antidote now. I think he deserves the poison's antidote either way if he is right. Cherchiel, if you know anything about what I said above, and whether or not fallen are a thing, now's the time to speak. Also hey, Fallen since I don't have a name for you, who's your master? You don't have your visor anymore and your eyes are quite strikingly pretty!~ Can it be me?
I don't know what the poison actually does. You should know, it's your poison. How long should it take for an angel to start feeling the effects? He doesn't look like he actually needs the antidote. Does it just make you feel sick? As for the quality of the hint I agree with the other voices. Maybe praying puts Mr OTG in a good mood and destroying it in a bad one. Maybe the statue is what binds his powers, praying to it strengthens the bonds and destroying it will let him unleash it all. He said himself that he is a servant of the OTG, so it's a little difficult to believe he'd just tell you how to defeat him. If the poison doesn't actually kill and just makes you puke for a bit and feel miserable, especially for small doses, consider taking some before facing OTG. Feeling terrible while getting raped might help you decide not to become a nun. As for the most pressing question of whether to give him the antidote ... just give it to him. He held up his end of the bargain and it's not his fault you cannot trust him. He'll probably screw you over, but he'll do so with or without the antidote and maybe he feels a little bit more inclined to not screw you over too bad if you are nice to him, within reason.
Actually... How exactly are we to deatroy this statue? Rope to pull it down? I doubt we can poke it down with a rapier XD
Hmph, what a waste of Items that was. Already what Lucius has said, contradicts what is happening. There is no prompt to pray in front of the statue While I will most likely be outvoted here, I am still firmly in the offer up virginity camp. As I stated last time, while our survival is guarantueed either way, the same doe snot hold true for Cherchiel. We would also have to use more items for this. Our last adrenaline syringe would be a given here. And in the end it might all be for nothing anyways. There is too much risk, for too little reward.
So everything on this floor is a test just like the one before... However i'm really not sure wether its follow the rules or don't. Whip angel, followed rules - bad Smoke, followed rules - good Fire, risk - good Wrestle, followed rules - good Fight priests, broke rules - good if success Open cell, broke rules - good/bad? It could be that doing the risky thing is "good", but that doesn't seem quite right... Well, i guess we got information so we might as well use it. So battle plan; Cherchiel with the halo destroys the statue while Yulia is a few steps back. Once the god shows up (in case monologue...) energize both yourself and Cherchiel, then immediately drink the mana potion you have. Both of you tag team the God, Cherchiel focus on grappling and keeping the God in one place. Yulia do damage with the rapier and your icicles. You two can do this! Quick reply to the other voice. I'm not against giving the virginity if we can guarantee she won't turn into a nun. That would be following the rules, fighting is breaking the rules and like i said i'm not sure what the floor wants us to do. Eveyone on this floor hinted that giving the virginity could/would lead to nun-ville, but maybe thats the risk?
Oop my bad... I forgot to do the prompt... I'll edit that in... Not saying whether Lucius is telling the truth or not,but that at least was supposed to happen I just fucked up... Sorry.
It did occur to me, that that might have been the case, but you never know ;P I apologize if I came across as a bit grumpy these past replies. Part of it is just being in character but I'm definitely looking forward to getting past this bloody floor.
No worries. I agree. The attempt to be fair and ensure that you guys get to make fully informed choices, means that it's taking a lot longer than usual to actually progress during these last few posts.
Welp, I'm sorry for suggesting the poison/antidote route, it indeed seems to have been for naught. It seems like OTR is the real deal, at least as real as it gets. It's the one that made the tower, apparently. There is no way to defeat it and even if somehow you did the tower's power would be gone. So it seems like pleasing the OTR is the way to go. The question is how to do it. Energizing and putting up an impressive fight is a possibility, but let's be honest, you don't have it in you. Your physical powers are mediocre and your magic has been nerved by the floor. Maybe with a lot of good will on the part of the OTR it'll see that you did ok with what you had available, but I don't think that will happen, especially not when we start out by pissing it off by not complying with its wish and breaking its statue. Ultimately I'm with Gambio. Kneel and pray. Make it a good one. Tell it that you recognize its power. That you are struggling to keep up with the challenges. That you'd do anything to gain the tower's favor and save the world from the plague, but that you are lost in trying to figure how to do that. That you could really use some proper guidance, guidance that the voices cannot provide, for they are not from the world they are trying to guide you through. If you get tentacle-raped and get to move on to the next floor, well, that's not ideal but good enough. One step closer to saving the world. Surely that's worth a popped cherry, some disgust and enduring of pleasure. Consider this a test of your will to keep going, a test I believe you have a better chance at passing than by flailing your dagger.
It's looking like the nun life... I don't want to see this adventure end here. Tower, if I give you my voice for the next floor can I save Yulia from this fate? I'd keep posting, just you could ignore my input if possible.
Well... I believe in you, and always will Yulia! Damn I don't know what to say, I love me a bad boy, but, the god is this... odd god of virtue and sex, kinda. So... if we listened to the weird fallen, that he knows is gonna betray him, since he made him to betray him, wouldn't that not be very righteous? Plus everything that Cherchiel is saying about him, Unless i misunderstood, then my next piece of advice changes to the opposite. I think, if we take into consideration the god, and the lesson of this floor, we shouldn't take his advice. Don't push the statue, kneel.
Sorry one more post Thank you for the reply Tower... Yulia at least ask if crazy plan#2 is a possibility for the God.
