Question, can you insert animated gifs into chapters? I have been able to add pictures with the  command. However, if the command is linked to an animated gif it won't even save in chyoa, even though it is loaded on imgur. I have a feeling the answer is "no," but is there a way to insert such gifs? Thank you. (Sorry about the typo in the title.)
Unless I'm very much mistaken, Chyoa should be able to display gifs as long as you use: Code:  However Imgur is kind of funny with how it handles gifs, and that might be your problem. It might help to know the address of your gif. Does it end in ".gif" or does it end in ".gifv"?
Ah! I've just had a look at your chapter, and I've seen that it's a ".gifv". That's probably your problem. To fix this, just delete the "v" from ".gifv" so that Code:  becomes Code:  It should work after that. (The reason why this happens, is because .gifv isn't a real format. It's a little bit of sleight of hand that Imgur uses to disguise video files as gifs. In some cases it's probably better to embed a ".gifv" as a video, but in this case, it should be fine to retrieve the '.gif' version and display that in your chapter.)

I am very excited I can now add animated gifs. Thanks again, and btw, your profile page is great. I will have to add pingas & vagoo in one of my chapters.

Thank you for the encouragement. I'm actually drafting a story right now, but I'm a very slow writer, and my introduction is quite long. So it's taking me a while. Still, I'm making progress, and I'll get there eventually.
The above advice maybe a bit old but it's still very valuable....I've just removed the 'v' and can now finally add GIFS! Thank You.
