Would it be possible to make the top stories searchable by time period. It would be really hard to break in to all time top story without just pumping out massive amounts of chapters. It would be cool to see what stories were currently the du jour. Maybe if there was a tab for say weekly and monthly. Also, if games could get a separate tab that would be great too. I feel like they have a different purpose from the classic story so with the new variable support the site is implementing it would be great to see which of those people are currently enjoying.
I second that idea. With the current search, some stories are flying under the radar. The old, big ones are often dominating all the search patterns in terms of length, rating and views. But it might be good to know which one is the middle-length, rather newish hot top story of the last 3 or 6 months.
I think this is a great idea. Maybe make a story searchable by Top Story year/6m/3m/1m/week/day to reflect the one(s) that attract the most attention in that time frame. I know that I've used the "Release Date" and "Chapter Depth" for my searches frequently. Another features that I'd really like to see (Related to this) is a generic New Story search. Right now, the site shows you the most recent 18 stories, but at times that the site is active, those stories can be brushed off the list into obscurity within a few short days if the author does not take an active hand in updating their story regularly (Currently the oldest story on the list is a mere four days old.). I'd love a chance to search for new stories in the form of week/month/3month intervals as a way of looking for newer stories that I might have missed in their initial release. Just my two cents on the subject.
