I have too many irons in the fire, but if someone else is interested, how about a possession story told from the victim's POV? The possessed are aware of what's happening, but have no control over their actions.
To me that's quite often the most interesting form of mind control. I always meant to go back to it as I knew where I wanted to take the story (and still do) but I just can't bring myself to write lesbian action. So the branch has sat dead for years. But yes, I definitely like the premise.
Sort of like the start of the first season of Jessica Jones. (She's a super strong bad-ass who sets out as a superhero, and on her first gig encounters a mind-control guy who dominates her, bangs her and uses her for all sorts of shit for months - and she retains the memory of it all) Actually a fan-fiction story from the POV of the guy (Killgrave - one of marvel's lesser known bad guy losers) might be quite cool too as he works his way through the super-heroines. however the Jessica Jones thing was from her POV as the posessed and was pretty good.
Well, the story is "Open"; and I did have a semi-collaboration with street0 when writing it originally. In truth I would love it if another author wrote the next thread, but I have my own personal "hang-ups" about asking others contribute. If they want to or feel compelled to continue the story fantastic! But I just have issues saying: "Please add to my story."
