Oh, I was on about a different fairy that crawled into an elf's butt. She's fine, the two made up.

Well, at least Muma has a real name and not a musical chord.

I don't see how having a guard out would hurt, so I propose that Cherchiel stands guard when Yulia rests.

If we do gain more companions we should have the ability to allow them some rest as well, but for now this arrangement seems the most reasonable way of handling things, since Yulia can simply heal Cherchiel with magic.

Well, we gathered some foods, but this is clearly not all that this was supposed to do. Anything you can tell us about cooking or alchemy, Muma?

Yes, by all means Muma inform us when we are in a new area, it's better to be safe then sorry on that matter.

It does feel like we are on rails right now, but I don't see any reason to deviate from the path, so I propose to take the non bones path.

Hmmm, humanoid so bare feet vs small bones of maybe fairies? How many humanoids does it seem like? Are they small or large footprints? My first thought is goblins, which could also explain the bones for the other path. Something that eats goblins is usually not good, but so is being swarmed by 20 goblins and so area spells.

If the footprints are small and many, then take the bones path. Multiple targets are a death sentence for us. Otherwise we can check out these "friends".

Muma are you able to scout a room ahead of us? Not the bone path, that is to scary. But humanoids shouldn't be able to reach you if your flying. If you don't immediately return we'll make Yulia come to your rescue.

I might be in the minority here, but I vote for exploring the bones path first - after carefully examining both the bones and the footprints and learning as much as you can.

I don't have anything else to suggest that has not been suggested by other voices.

I don't like the "probable imminent death" path. I prefer the "probably friends" path. I'm all for testing Muma, but let's do it with something that doesn't result in death if we guess wrong, so let's trust Muma for now and go left.

The destination is Alide which would be nice. We should start thinking about what to get, assuming it's the same choices as before. Ask Cherchiel what type of weapon she prefers and how much that would improve her combat ability. Though Muma considers her a somewhat useless companion, so maybe I'm mistaken in assuming Cherchiel is a brawler type, or she is but without divine strength to make it work.

I propose you arm-wrestle her to test her strength. Or just ask her outright how she'd do in a fight against, say, a priest from the previous floor. If she is indeed not useful in a fight we should adapt the combat strategy to give her more of a support role. We can compensate for her lack of muscles by giving her items such as poison gas grenades. Also consider giving her your antidotes. You don't really need them since you have magic, so enabling Cherchiel to heal you is more useful.

If her strength is completely lacking we should consider leaving her behind in a safe area. Despite what Muma says Cherchiel is definitely useful as moral support at least, so we should not put her in risk she cannot handle. Also she can watch your supplies. You're carrying an awful lot of stuff around, enough that it makes you noticeably slower, so consider giving Cherchiel all but one of your rations and water supply.

You still have a Boar Mask. I forgot what it does, if anything, so consider trading it away when you reach Alide. An extra spell will probably be more useful. We desperately need offense. Picking an offensive spell seems reasonable, but chances are we'll just get something like Fireball which effectively does similar damage as Icicle and doesn't make you much stronger. You're a support mage, so getting a support spell like Weaken, Chain or Slow would probably have more impact on your survivability.

Once you do find Alide consider delaying getting something and facing a danger first. You get a free heal from Alide, so better take that after you got hurt than wasting it.

Huh, that mask... Reliving the memories of the tower...

She obtained the boar mask after the Sower fight and Dahlia said it would be helpful down the road. We have not experimented with it since... It could be dangerous, but the items we got from cupid we're good so perhaps we should try it out... Or ask Alide.

I don't think we should trust someone who messes with Yulia's mind like that. That mask could be a date rape drug that would allow Dahlia to rape Yulia.

No convincing needed here, I happen to like fae, as well as quite a few mythological creatures. I mean I have ghost horns so... y'know, not much room to judge.
So, I feel bad for our resident map drawer, Gambio. The shifting nature of this place means drawing a new map pretty much every time you do "a thing"

Yeah, so my choice, enough rambling from me. I'll choose people, even though I usually dislike strangers, whatever is making those bones cannot be friendly, though, I'd like to know if they are all Exclusively animal bones or if there's some that look human-ish to our dear Yulia. With her being a Plague Doctor, I'm sure she can tell upon closer inspection. Good luck you three!

    Well, that escalated quickly

We are in fairly good shape to take this thing on. We could run of course, but where to? Back to the starting area? Surely running into an as of yet unexplored area would be extremely dangerous. Running might also very well trigger this things hunting instincts.

There is a decent chance that Lumberer is after the deer carcass. Which means we have a good chance of getting the drop on him. For now I propose hiding behind some trees and wait and see what it does.

First of all, Muma (or other voices), is it possible to flee a floor monster?

If yes, we may want to. While yes, we are at full strength, I would feel better after Alide and getting something for Cherchiel.

    If we decide to fight:
    - Yulia wears the Halo.
    - Cherchiel put on the boar mask. It's a risk, but I still think it should be mostly safe.
    - Energize yourself and Cherchiel.
    - Cherchiel (unless the boar mask has a special we don't know) you are to run distraction. Get it's attention then stay alive! Yulia can heal when needed.
    - Yulia go in behind Cherchiel and start by trying to disable his tree hand while icicles. After that, drink the mana potion to regain your mana and heal Cherchiel and yourself when needed.

If the fight seems to be going south quick... Cherchiel and Muma retreat to the safe room. With Yulia having the Halo we're less worried about her death, but let's not let it come to this.

This sounds like a troll... And we don't have fire. A gas grenade in its mouth might be effective, but otherwise the area is to open for the gas to be used properly. The poison syringe may work, but if it has thick stick I'm not sure if the small needle will be enough... Actually, give the syringe to Cherchiel. If it starts ignoring you, stab that into his dick... That will piss it off real quick!

Your guide told you to run, so run! Sneak away as long as you're unnoticed and then run back to the safe area as fast as you can. There is no reason to fight now, given the tremors there is no way it will sneak up on you and you'll easily find it later. But before that there is a chance you can meet up with the hunters and maybe gain companions defeating the floor monster together. Try not to get separated from Cherchiel. If one of you gets caught the other has to help by fighting or distracting it.

Bit disappointing, but my only advice right now is run.
    Good luck.

Not that I wanted to flee, hmph.

Well, at least we aren't worse off. I suggest we continue in the direction we initially intended to. Maybe the two hunters will be back or we can loot the Deer ourselves.

Didn't expect we'd be able to XD.

Ok good! Let's keep heading towards Alide which is in the forest right? Keep my battle plan ready just in case lumberer comes back. Once Cherchiel has a weapon then we can fight lumberer and get for cum vials.

Taking the deer is not a bad idea. It can be a sorta peace offering to the hunters if we can carry it.

Oh, our first village, this could take a while,

Obviously we should first check the hut with the coin. that's most likely Alide. Although, we probably should first ask around if we are allowed inside the huts into the first place. We have only been given passage after all and this village seems pretty scammy.

here is the new map, I decided the directions myself in this one, since nothing was specified.

I would carefully talk with the chief and find out the do's and don'ts here. Then assuming it's not a don't, we should check out the hammer and anvil. We need to get a weapon and or shield for Cherchiel. If this is a no go or can't get a weapon then head to the coin room.

Muma, now that we're here, are you able to tell us more about this town? What are some of these doors, etc...
