I'm not sure what's wrong with the current chapter. If you want to write your own interpretation, then you can but it would be a massive endeavor to do that and then move your own chapters down to it. I've very hesitant anymore to agree to allowing someone to use already made chapters as a basis for the next chapter. Not that you would, but manytimes I give them an inch, and they take a mile. On top of that, the chapter in question was written by SonofOsman. I can't really give you permission to rework it anyway...
I worded that poorly what I want to do is upload a version of this story to a different site one that does not accept as much adult content and I wanted to know if I could use your intro as the stuff I have written doesn't make sense without context.
As long as you only use the first couple of intro chapters written by me and give credit where credit is due...You'll also either have to get permission from SonofOsman for his chapter or write your own variation written in such a way that it isn't plagiarized. Sorry for being a little wary. I know of at least one or two people who have uploaded large chunks of the story to different sites without any credit or recognition.
Thanks, I plan to re right SonofOsman stuff as I have never got a reply from them and don't think they visit this site any more. I will give you credit and also might find a way to change your intro to make sense with the changes I am making to the story. Do you want me to credit you to your page on Chyoa or is there another site you are on that you wish me to send people to.
Added a chapter to an existing story line, Anna and the Bandit Queen, at the point where she has a choice to reward Sir Noah for his service: https://chyoa.com/chapter/Execute-them.289235 Seriously disappointed that the chapter is still in review and hasn't been approved immediately! It's been more than 12 hours! Just kidding. As always, I have great Ideas and plans - which I will probably never act upon. But I hope that I do manage to add a few more chapters (well at least more than just the one I have written and submitted). Had this idea for some years, only writing it down now: The corruption of Princess Anna. A corruption fueled by her grief and sorrow. By the violence and hatred she experiences. And by her fiendish heritage, lust, magic and power. Leading to a slow or fast transformation, depending how readily she gives into her demonic nature. While she tries to be a "good" bandit queen, building up her forces, making alliances, the choices she is forced to make, the moral dilemmas, should lead her to the realization that often there is no clearly good or evil decision, and sometimes the "evil" decision seems to be quite necessary in the grand scheme of things (like the execution choice already present a few chapters earlier). Over time she learns more and more about the powers that come with her demonic heritage. That gives her a distinct advantage over normal humans and perhaps even a serious chance in her endeavor to get revenge on her mother and to reclaim the throne. But because demonic powers are so often associated with evil, those powers should slowly corrupt her (without realizing it in the beginning)(and those around her). Meaning that in the end, even if she should be successful, that as the new ruler she is perhaps not any better, or even worse than her mother. Because how far she has fallen and the foul deeds she has committed in the process. Or as those powers slowly awaken, she tries to fight them, tries to stay good. But in the final showdown she accepts the fact that she is a succubus herself, just like her mother, and joins her. About her potential powers: As established, she can already alter her hair color and length. Meaning she could learn to alter much more of her body. And she accidentally used some sort of magic to set the bandit leader on fire. Meaning she could learn to use more magic. Because her mother was a succubus, I would imagine any power her mother possesses (shapeshifting, possessing people, control over getting pregnant, speed, strength) could be fair game. She could either be a succubus herself or just inherited quite a bit of demonic power. And the following powers could be themed and reasonable: Even though she has no experience at all, she could be naturally skilled in seduction and sexual acts and enjoys them immensely. She could be able to harness energy from sexual acts. Perhaps even draining the energy (or even life-force) from their partners/victim to fuel and enhance her powers. By harnessing sexual energy she could able to regenerate, heal bruises, wounds, etc. By harnessing sexual energy she could gains the ability to become faster, stronger. More beautiful. Given above, she could learn exceptionally fast how to become a skilled fighter. Sex could give her the energy she needs to use various sorts of magic. For example Fire/ Destruction, Mind Control, Possession, Illusion. She could learn to alter her body completely. Disguise herself. Change gender. (Futanari. Tentacles. Anything is possible.) Through sex she could learn to forcefully drain the energy of her partner, thus seriously harming or even killing people. She could learn to (or involuntary in the heat of the moment) drain the energy of people around her in above manner even without sex. Any comments, suggestions or interest in collaboration?
Heh, sorry. I've only been checking Chyoa every couple of days or so, but fortunately, it looks like Alexandra approved it for you! If I recall I had a sort of similar premise for Anna that I was going to write, but never got around to it (Obviously). It revolved around Anna being corrupted not so much by her heritage, but by the choices she had to make in order to protect her group of bandits and brigands from capture or death. This would ultimately result in her treating everything as a tool to further her plans (Including herself and her body). Magic was to be a part of it as well where the more she used magic, the less caring she was of those around her. Honestly, Donmal was also meant to have a similar story arch...Although I had planned on his being more physical. Where tapping into a more depraved and deviant mindset gave him more demonic speed and strength and libido. So Anna would have the aptitude of a Succubus and Donmal would have the Prowess(Augmented even more by his own ability) and Libido of one.
I'm glad A Fantasy Dynasty is still busily spinning out. I stepped away after managing to squick myself out with one of the bad decision scenes on the new young king's storyline, but reading over the paths, I could imagine contributing again.
I made a post on the Discord about it, so I really don't want to duplicate my efforts here, but everyone with a stake in this story should just be aware, something pretty cool is about to happen concerning this story. So until it does, uh...
I'm thinking of doing my own branch. It was originally going to be a separate story called Crusade of Kings but I'm now considering it making it a branch of fantasy dynasty. Any advice? Are any countries based on England, France, Germany, Israel or the Middle East? I think Itheria is supposed to be England and Sinnabarrow is supposed to be France. I'm going for something inspired by the crusades but with influences from Arthurian legend and the mythical version of Charlemagne, specifically Fate's take on them. The initial protagonist would be Richard (working name), maybe Bryce if Itheria turns out to be England but I kinda envision the character as having blonde hair with red streaks (like King Richard in Fate/Strange Fake) which would contradict the description given, before marrying a noble and having a number of offspring. I could make Richard a son of Bryce. Are there any branches where Bryce marries a human woman that has nothing to do with demons? I'm also considering making Richard a catboy. Is there anything where Bryce marries a catgirl?
Oh boy, let me check my notes. (addendum: Let me Find my notes) So originally, I didn't have any direct references for countries in the sense of X Fictional country is related to Y Historical country. Of course that adapted over time with many of the realms developing distinct personalities in an attempt to differentiate them and as one from the Western World and a Crusader Kings nerd, Western Europe is definitely a big inspiration. The Writers Resource Page has degenerated horribly over the years with many of the images (including a world map) entering The Shadow Realm, and nowadays, the best known map we have is actually from @Gambio 's Marcie and Gina. Spoiler It's not perfectly accurate, but it does a pretty good job at portraying the geography from at least @AlexandraS90 's branches. Phebis is the other notable bordering kingdom for Itheria not on the map and it's a small kingdom to the southeast and Elves probably would be more accurate to put to the due east of Itheria as there's supposed to be a vast forest that leads into central Motania where the elves live. In my notes, there's a mountain range along the border of Itheria and Phebis and a more extensive kingdom/empire south of that, focusing on heavily armored mounted combat(Utilizing monstrous creatures like Griffins and such) for their military. Phebis is so relevant in some of my story branches because they hold the only significant pass through the mountain range. However, nothing on that kingdom has been written and it's just notes. I don't think there are any specific references to exactly where Al-Anashab is. My notes have it to the far south and/or east along with the desert, but with no direct references to its location. There's nothing to say it couldn't be over the sea. And the Grand Celestial Empire is on the Eastern coast of Motania and pretty far removed from everything everyone else has written. (someday, I'll get back to that). It's important to note that I don't really care that much about consistency between the different branches. Your interpretation of the lore doesn't have to match up exactly with my interpretation, Alexandra's, or anyone else's. It would be stupid of me to expect someone to read through hundreds of chapters and use that as the barrier of entry. As for Bryce and the demon. there's a few options where he doesn't get involved with the demon. None of them are quite as developed though. If the reader chooses to Take Time to Prepare for his trip to Luxem he can bed Lady Victoria (or a couple of other unexplored options) and due to his time dabbling with the ladies, the demon breaks the count into a babbling buffoon which leads Bryce to figure out that she's demon straight away and a very different encounter where Bryce outs the demon and either dies of stupidity or his guards kill her. After that he gets a marriage proposal from Phebis and depending on the options the reader takes, potentially bangs his Catgirl Spymaster, Akina. Then after an assassination plot that she fails to foil, potentially does it again. A bunch of this stuff was done before conditional variables, so it's fairly branchy in places (especially at Phebis). However, that does mean that there's no extra variables to worry about in there and technically anywhere through there would be chances to write out into a different storyline. It would just take some effort to do so. dearnise also had a branch where Bryce beds Akina...Although it's been a long time since i've read his story arc and can't remember much about it. there may be paths to branch off of there. Finally, I did begin a Romance Route with Akina...Although I never got very far in it. The idea was that Bryce sends Akina's spies to deal with the Luxem problem and handwaves the demon problem away(probably through assassination). Then Bryce walks in on her training and hot, sweaty things occur that leads to the opportunity of romancing her further.
So I could have Bryce marry, or maybe just have an affair with, Lady Victoria or Akina, which results in Richard. I could have Bryce die from illness during the time skip during which Lady Victoria/Akina would have served as regent until Richard came of age. The 18 year gap means I wouldn't have to worry about consistency.
I don't think I had specific ages in mind. Victoria was meant to be around Bryce's age, so 18-19, and Akina is slightly older (early to mid 20s).
I think I'll start from where Akina proposed the hit. I wonder what the consequences would be if he got one of them pregnant before marrying the other. This story was originally to be about Richard's daughter, but then I got to idea to have it focus on Richard first and then realised it similar enough to this one that it could be a branch of it. Richard would have a younger brother. I've already a little worked on the King Richard chapters, maybe I should change him into an older but illegitimate half-brother.
Probably a... Catfight. (I'll see myself out) In theory, that's part of the fun of the Idea of A Fantasy Dynasty. You can start with Richard and then go on through Richard's daughter if you reach that point or something unfortunate befalls Richard early. In practice, the story threads have rarely even reached a second generation. But that isn't surprising considering that most stories on Chyoa seldom conclude. The idea of finding the ending of a story and then continuing into a new one is pretty ambitious. I'll set you up with Author perms so that you don't have to worry about submitting the chapter and waiting for either Alexandra or me to get online to approve it.
