    Hi,

I just made my account not too long ago, and there's a lot of stories to choose from. I hope to contribute someday soon, but all of my erotica is currently not interactive. I've published on another site before, but here, I don't know anyone or favorites to be geared towards reading as I get to know the Chyoa community better.

(I am familiar with hentai visual novels and dating sims lol)

It's probably easier to say what I'm not into for reading since that's a much shorter list, but any recs outside of that that either you've written and are proud of or is someone else's story (interactive or not) are greatly appreciated. :)

So as long as it's not scat, rape, or incest, I'm pretty open to reading it. Underage and bestiality aren't allowed here so looks like I don't need to worry about those two popping up. I do like tentacles though... a lot.

Anything you've learned from interactive writing as opposed to non-interactive stories for a newbie at the genre like me would also be appreciated.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone. ❤︎

  3. Hey there and welcome! I don't know what draws people to sites like this which are typically full of underage teens and half-witted incels, but judging by how I've not been heckled, canceled, scolded, or insulted (at least, not yet), this site's pretty good, so you should stay. I tip my hat to all the decent and friendly men and women here, you make this place what it is. Random acts of basic human kindness are rare online, and considering I've had a bad day today, I'm thankful that there are some places and people in cyberspace that can lift my mood back up, either through the erotica or some nice words.

Anyhow, since I want to repay the kindness that I was given, I won't advertise my own work (I also haven't finished it and probably won't for a while). So, I'll tell you about other writers, like Somburliss, whose work I enjoy reading over and over. I don't know the writer personally, but he/she is really good at writing a sex scene in a detailed and arousing manner and a plot line in a coherent and consistent fashion. I'm especially a fan of the Monster Hunter: Whore story (it's what brought me here), and I think you'll like it too. Although, I believe that Somburliss is on an indefinite hiatus, which is a shame since I enjoyed his/her work. And, before you ask, yes, I played Monster Hunter, but only World and World: Iceborne.

I don't know this one personally either, but LoreMaster also writes some pretty good stuff, albeit his is confined to already-existing stories. I'm especially a fan of his additions to a certain story that I hope to add onto myself (when I have the time) called God's Apprentice, specifically this branch and his additions to another branch I won't tell you about since it has incest and I know you don't want that. Even though he tends to focus less on plot and more on sex and also should maybe proofread his work at least once for grammar, I still can jack off effectively to his stories without much trouble.

Other than those two, I don't have many other favorite writers on this site. I'm not a big fan of yaoi (gay) stuff (semi-okay with lesbian depending on if the lesbian part is used to convey a political stance or not) or the weird AB/DL or futanari fetishes. I tend to lean towards traditional, consenting sex out of preference, either semi-hardcore or wholesome or (my favorite) a bit of both. I'm also a big fan of non-incestous stories with a focus on romance between characters, but I'm still looking for one that'll fit my standards. I suggest you check out the two writers I mentioned, and I would appreciate your opinion on them. Anyway, have fun here in both the erotic and non-erotic ways, I hope that we can be friends or at least on friendly terms and that we could talk one day.

I'm a writer for Chyoo/Chyoa partly because I was frustrated with how difficult it was to code satisfying stories using Interactive Fiction platforms like TADS and Inform.

The "interactive fiction" aspect becomes most obvious to me in where to end a chapter, and how to frame a branching choice.

More than once I've ended up moving the end of a chapter later or earlier (pulling content from a later chapter, pushing content to one branch of a later chapter) in order to get a chapter endpoint that feels right.

In the old classic choose-your-own-adventure games, the end-chapter question was something like "What do you do?" followed by a set of options that the point-of-view character takes. I've been a little looser on that. For stories that are more explicitly framed with the reader == "you" == the point-of-view character, it makes sense to frame the branching choice as "What do you do?" Other times, I've framed the question as "Who's calling on the phone?" or "Where do they take you?" where it's not so much a deliberate choice of the point-of-view character where the choice has consequences, as it is a branching point for the storyline where something else could have happened.

My chapters and branching options in my contributions to Duskford's "At The Cabin" are partly main-character choices, and partly "whose storyline does the reader follow?" and partly "what are different ways this could have happened. At The Cabin is primarily third-person, so this sort of a mix makes sense. For example, from "Hannah, Taylor, and Heather get settled", the question "What did Heather discover in the bottom drawer?" invites the reader to choose a story branch to explain why Heather was joking with her roommates about what they had brought for the visit to the lakeside cabin.

    * "At The Cabin" [recommended story! teens visit a cabin by the lake! hanky panky ensues! all-time monument of sex and story on Chyoa!]

My chapters and branching options in "Lusty Magical Academy" are a mix of the point-of-view character's choices, alternative paths that don't depend on the character's choice, and (because it's based on Slut World's Powered By The Apocalypse game mechanics) the options driven by a roll of dice for a game move.

    Happy reading and writing!

    -Z.

Content Note -- read the content tags if you're looking at my stories. "Lucy's Portion" and "When The Cat's Away" in particular have some line-crossing content based on your preferences.
