Luke clearly had no time to make heads or tails of who was on whose side here. The yakuza was the immediate threat, he tried to get his attacker off balance by dodging at the last moment and using the thug's momentum to sweep his leg.
Damn, of course they'd be cautious. Mori sighed, slowing down the car. He motions for everyone to stay, but keep a look out for chances to neutralize the remaining guards. "Ahh, gomen, gomen, aahm, my english not so good." He bows, pretending to have trouble speaking. "Aahm, we herd special ruins here. My friends and I curious about it."
Natasha shrug hersellf by instinct wanted to cover up, but she hold on and decided to not give any more embrassed act, ewen when she feel so humilated. " I don't know! I guess I first must findm source of power and get know how it is working. To defeat enemy, you must first get know him." She said and look at chains. "Well... I'm not robot, I sometimes act by emotions." She said and weakly smile. "So you are just bored and want some enjoyment in your immortal live? Like being similar to you in the legends."
Spoiler: Combat Roll D100: Yakuza: 19 Luke: 64 Luke pirouettes out of the way as a long knife emerges from the man's sleeve and darts forward. He feels a satisfying contact of hiss leg against the other man's, before the yakuza topples to the sand. Looking ahead, the four other guys are moving towards them now, all of them unarmed, unlike the yakuza. They sprint forward, target still unclear, but they're not used to running on sand, and they're too slow for a proper charge, letting Luke get ready for them. The yakuza slashes with his knife, more to create distance than to hurt Luke, as he tries to get back on his feet. From the water, the bikini clad woman is running as well, now, far faster than the Japanese men, but she's furthest away from the action, so she's not a factor yet.
Spoiler: Deception Roll D100: 91+10 Miraculously, the armed man seems to buy it, and lowers his weapon. "This is private land! Get out of here!" The tiger looks at Mori for confirmation.
"Pri...vate? Oooh, sorry, sorry, my apologies!" Mori bows as he apologizes, giving the tiger a thumbs up as he does so.
"I admire your...optimism." Aksham chuckles. "It's somewhat more complicated than that, but you could say that, yes. Think of it like this: You humans are pawns in a great game. The players are Horus, Isis and Anai, and they're moving their pawns to try and win the game. I'm moving pawns as well, but not to win anything. I just want the game to be fun."
'Dies Irae, who are you people?' Luke cursed, he kicked sand towards the prone yakuza and stepped back, trying to get his electric staff ready for action and into the fight to fend off more than one assailant.
Natasha nod for that, expecting nothing more from such immortal. " I see. So you are here to make this game more fun isn't it? You come here personally to offer me something for the price. " She said lowering her weapon. " One question. Do you think I'm funny for you or I become boring? It is you behind power of humility? " She asked.
Confusion and uncertainty run through Kelly and her eyes dart around looking for Max. Not seeing him, she puts her focus back on the newcomer. Her eyes darted up and down his form, he was slender yet muscular and not unattractive Kelly noted. Not that it mattered in the moment. "Who are you?" she asked. "What do you want?"
Beatrice narrowed her eyes, but then slowly nodded. She was still obliged to follow the orders of her minders. "And what are your orders?" She asked.
Luckily, the four men seem as confused as Luke himself, not sure if they should attack the man on the ground, or Luke, who seems like the greater threat. They decide to split up - two going for the yakuza and two for Luke. The inquisitor kicks sand, but has no time to see if it was effective, as two of the men reach him and begin to attack. Spoiler: Combat Roll D100: Thugs: 37 Luke: 83+10 (God damn it, stop rolling so well!) The thugs clearly assumed they were fighting an unarmed man, so Luke catches them by surprise when he extends his staff. They're already both lunging in, one trying to grab Luke, and the other trying to punch him, so Luke is easily able to redirect their attacks. The staff knocks the punch directly into the face of the man trying to wrestle, and Luke sees a tooth go flying as the wrestler falls to the sand. The puncher doesn't last much longer, falling after Luke smacks him with an electrified one-two strike from the staff. Taking a breath, he sees the yakuza tangling with his own attackers. Giving a scream of what seems like pure joy, the man rams his knife into the midriff of one of his attackers, twisting the blade as he yanks it out. The man behind him goes for a rear choke, but the yakuza twists his shoulders and sends the guy flying over his head, at which point the yakuza brings down the knife on his fallen opponent, giggling as he lands a half dozen stabs in quick succession. Finally, the man stands, a manic look on his face and the bloody tanto in his hand, as he faces off against Luke. In his peripheral vision, Luke sees that the woman is nearly there.
"Just get out of here, you stupid-oof!" The Brit can't finish his sentence, as the Tiger leaps forward, arms wrapping around the man's waist, before he lifts him into the air and sharply slams the man down to the ground. A few heavy punches, and the merc slumps, unconscious. "Goddamn, I thought we were doing this without violence?" Eloise complains to no one.
"So far, you've amused me greatly." Aksham grins. "But I'm not the one behind your powers. That's something older than me, I'm afraid. Though I have my suspicions that it's less about humility, and more about wanting to see naked women." He chuckles. "I have powers that I could offer you, though."
"Heh, sorry darling. Violence may not always be the answer, but sometimes its the only solution." Mori chuckled, "Alright, let's take their guns. Sadly, we can't bring all of them. But it'll be better than being flanked without any way to shoot back, right?" He said, deciding to steal some of the merc's equipment, "Hey, Eloise-chan. Do you know how to use a gun?" The smuggler asked, wondering if all Americans truly were gun nuts.
The man pivots, pressing Kelly against the wall, and his hands come up above her shoulders, supporting him as he leans forward towards her, trapping her. He notices her looking at his frame, and returns the favor, ogling her readily, though she notes that he doesn't seem all that affected by her aura. "I'm...Lark, in your language." He smiles. "And I should be asking you that. After all, you suddenly arrived in my home. I was asleep...asleep for a long time, and suddenly I find you - a priestess of Isis, lurking around here, long after that order was supposed to be wiped out."
'By the Devil,' Luke was horrified by the display. His blood was boiling, the inquisitor had to finish this maniac quickly before it was two on one again. He tried to use his reach advantage against the knife fighter, not holding back to minimise harm but fully fighting for survival.
Natasha rise her eyebrown. "Yes, I figured that out too. If it was only for humility it would be open for Men too." She said and nod for his offer. "That is great to hear. What kind power and what do you want in exchange? I heard that some of immortals like having fun with mortal woman but you look like too smart for that." She said.
"As you command." Beatrice bowed submissively, accepting the command. She would follow it, despite her dislike for being included in infighting...
