Where did all my variables go?

I looked at https://chyoa.com/story/Power-Corrupts.21760 and I see the variables are all gone. What gives? And while I look for myself, how would I get them back?

 

I've taken a look earlier today. Back then, the option "Readers can enter details about the main characters" was unticked while the option "Chapters can have conditions" was ticked off.
I haven't seen your story making any use of Conditional Branches, so I could only imagine that you switched the boxes somehow.

@Friedman might there be a technical reason for that?

 

I did catch that and turned it back on, but a lot of the variables are gone.

As things stand, I don't think it's a technical error. I'd need more information for that.

 

I turned them back on and re-created the variables, so it's all resolved. It's still baffling because I hadn't touched that story in months. Oh, well.
