Spoiler: Awareness 21 + 20 (cultivator) - failure As she slowly opened her eyes, Mulan realised that a smell of hot meal was what woke her up. One of the maids entered, when she was asleep, and put a breakfast on her table...
Yu Yujin crossed her arms and frowned, "I will admit that I may be a bit blunt, but I say things how they are. You cannot deny that many under your command are lowlifes nor are my requests horribly unreasonable for what I need to partake in my craft. I'm not a stupid woman, I know that such things will take time to organize. But I digress, I am guessing that you want me to prove my worth? I have no interest in prostrating myself on your bed like a whore." The wolf woman shot a sideways glance at the Rabbitkin. "I'll need some supplies first though to work my alchemy."
The two move deeper into the caves, but soon discover that it is a rather large and spacey... and inside the deeper caves, they find an illuminated place... with a hut inside...
Mulan yawn as she leave the bed, anoyed for herself, that she let maiden enter the room, without her knowlegee. She have to be more carefool in the future. "Hello..." She said, checking if sword and ring are still on the right place and then sit by the table. "Tell me, which time o clock it is? And where I could find the lord?" She asked, eating.
"Are they, now?" The man have leaned his head on his arm. "Or are you just speaking from ignorance?" He asked. At her blunt tongue the Rabbit-kin grabbed her sword, ready to attack Yu Yujin, but stopped as the man raised his arm. "And? Even if you are skilled and I deliver the materials for you... why would you not just betray us?" He paused, then thought for a moment. "What alchemy do you know?" He asked.
Wang thinks for while about what to do before deciding to go to the hut but before he reaches the hut he makes a sign to the girls to be silent and knocks om the door "Hello ... is anyone home "He says while being careful of any strange movement
"Ghhh!" Groaning as she was hit on her crotch, Luo Fei falls to the ground. Her entire body was in pain, as she desperately fought the urge to go unconscious. "D-damn it." She cursed, trying to think of another way to defeat Su Cheng.
Yu Yujin didn't bat much of an eye at the Rabbit woman's threat of attack. Her needling did the trick of getting under her skin and that was fine enough for her. Of course, The wolf woman was blunt to a fault, but her blunt assessments also pass to herself. she knows that she doesn't know everything, so she shrugged again at the prospect that she might simply be ignorant of Bandit Life."Perhaps it's ignorance. From my understanding, most people don't join with bandit groups because they want to. Many are hiding from something or just have no other choice." She thought about telling the bandit leader about her Bestial Might potion, but decided not to. She wasn't sure what effects it would have on humans and there were few enough non-humans here to take advantage of it. "Currently I can use alchemy to heal and regenerate wounds. I'm sure you could see how that could be useful. You would also benefit from any other alchemical formulae that I learn and think could be useful to you. That's also why I want a decent work environment and such a thing benefits you as well to provide. As for why I won't betray you..." Yu Yujin thought for a moment, as far as she was aware of, nobody else survived the attack on her Sect. Everyone she knew there was dead or strewn to the far corners of the land. "I have nowhere else to go and no living connections. I have no reason to betray you."
“Agreed. It’s too close to where survivors might try to rebuild or if we did, we’d be mistaken for the same as them and just bring the same enemies on us. Eventually, we’ll need to settle, but we’d still need a following established first to begin with.” She didn’t expect all of the problems to be remedied easily. “Good enough. Proving our power and spreading good will is critical to accumulating a following. The more achievements to our name, the more people will start talking about it. The added bonus is we can also help those who need it at the same time.” It was a good first step as far as she could tell. And she was already had some skill for exorcising spirits. It would show her abilities were real and they’re on the people’s side. It was definitely the best way to go about establishing things. “We should ask around the inn to see what people heard. That’s adventuring basics, after all.” It was as much of a lead as any, so Torri gave a nod and began to rise so they could split off and inquire on their apparent first quest.
The ring and the sword, were where she left them. "Sun raised not to long ago, Madam Mulan." The maid answered as she bowed her head. "I am to take you to him, after you eat." She said.
Spoiler: Curing 35 - fail As he started preparing the herbs, according to Ye Chao's way, Cao messed up and accidentally destroyed half of the herbs. He would need to make later another trip for herbs, but for the first trip, it was enough. After he was done, he was left with two people unconscious people in the building... He could either go for herbs, catch something to eat or cultivate while waiting for the duo to wake up.
As he called out, there was no one answered... but as he moved to the side of the building, he noticed a woman sitting on the bench. Either she did not hear him, or completely ignored him...
Spoiler: Control 66 - success The unconsciousness almost claimed her, but she thought it off. She lied down, unmoving as her opponent walked up to her. "What to do with you, now?" She mussed. "Killing would be too fast." Luo Fei felt as the woman put her boot on her cheek. "I know - I will have this entire village fuck you." "Excuse me, Madam..." Luo heard a familiar voice - the innkeeper. "Ah, the rat. Here for your praise?" There was a sound of material - and coins? "Here. Now scram."
Mulan finish her breakfeast, and brush her teeth, and also make her hair mor stylish. "I hope my old clothes are washed already." She said to maid and follow her to lord.
The man thought for a moment. Then slowly nodded. "Very well... Prepare healing potions for my men. If the wounded get significantly better, you will be allowed to join." The man declared. "That's acceptable, is it not?"
Cao cursed his luck and grumbled as he ruined a batch of herbs. He decided to go out and catch dinner while the others were still unresponsive.
"Uhm!" The young man nodded happily. "As you wish!" "Will we be taking the job, Elder sister?" Li asked.
“We will. Try to find out some name and locations and what they saw or felt to make them so sure, it’s a spirit. Having an idea what it’s capable of and what powers it commands is important to making a proper plan.” Giving her instruction, she rose to go off.
Yu Yujin nodded "Perfectly acceptable. It may take some time to gather enough ingredients though and without the proper housing and environment, they may not be as effective as they would be if I had the proper equipment, but they should still be just fine for your proof."
