There was actually somewhat of a difficult question she had to debate. Clearly, someone intended to use this as a tool for their benefit to manipulate the widow into an obsession. Simply destroying it would do nothing about the individual in question and eventually they would realize it hadn't worked and just correct that later. Leaving her in this state was potentially dangerous for many reasons, but she had minimal interest in using such a tactic for her own benefit. But...it would be easier to protect and deal with things if she could keep the woman close, but that would only last so long before potentially probably brining in more danger. Hesitating for a few moments, she ultimately remembered the original purpose of her becoming a renegade. Whatever the risks, such a thing ultimately imposes on another person's freedom. The widow did not have a choice. It was that simple. Reasserting herself she decided the best thing would be to destroy it and explain the situation later, placing her hand on the tailsman and invoking her energy to exorcising the energy inside of it.

The talisman cracked and crumpled into dust in her hand, leaving only black burned paper behind. There was a dull sound, and the black mist hanging over the half-naked widow, disappeared. The woman's breathing became calmer as her dream became deeper.
From the looks of it, things seemed to have evened out for now. Taking a breath, Torri began to relax a little. But she still wouldn't know for sure until the morning, deciding to get some rest for now and see what the woman's state was in the morning.
