Some people may remember a Sci-fi movie of a couple of decades ago where how long people had to live hung on a countdown timer imprinted on their arms? Called "In Time" People were genetically engineered to stop aging at 25, but would only live for one year after that. They had the option to buy more time, and theoretically could live forever. Now my idea is set in such a world, but someone has hacked the system. Females can now only gain time by sexually servicing men. So much per blowjob, so much per vaginal sex, so much per anal session. How many sexual services they have to give to gain time grows larger the closer they get to their last day. If they delay till the last week they'd have to spend every moment of that time getting gang-banged just to gain back a month or so of time. If they surrender right away and give service to everyman who asks right out of the door they can stay static with just one regular lover. Males gain time by having sex with women as well. While they can buy more time, unlike women, the easiest way is to blow a load in a woman. Consent is not a requirement.
The premise is extremely dark, but it has a lot of potential. I would suggest that the sex-for-time feature is a little less intense than you lay out - women gain time for sexual activity, but they gain diminishing returns from the same partner. So a woman could settle down with a guy, but in order to stay ahead of the clock she has to pretty regularly have sex with strangers. Maybe once a week or a month, enough to make it a hassle but not a crippling one. The main character could be the one who gets hacked, and her clock is spinning faster than others for reasons unknown. So she has to be more aggressive than others while adding a mystery component as to who would do that to her and why.
Well, it was sort of inspired by some of the darker male-dom threads on the site. And the theme of the movie itself was pretty dark. But I think it could be one of those threads where different threads could vary between dark and light depending on the author's preference. In one thread the male protagonist could hold the female's situation over her/them. In another a boyfriend reaps the rewards as his girlfriend becomes very enthusiastic and imaginative in order to keep him up and at her. Another possible thread would play on the device concept you see in some threads where the protagonist, male or female, finds/builds, a device that will allow them to adjust the requirements that are needed to gain time for individuals. you might also consider that thing they are doing in China where people get a social score based on their activity, as recorded on their phones. In that case people could gain time by doing socially responsible things, like having sex with a nerd. ^_^ Imagine if your standard queen bee discovered she could gain lots of time by letting the un-cool boys at the school have their way with her.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a dark theme. I write and read them all the time. But it's not easy to write around "Sex-or-die" so it's going to color the story. Depends on how much world building you want to do, but I do like the idea of the social score appearing on your arm (like the time in the film). You could take that in a lot of ways - maybe the queen bee needs a very high social score in order to get into the college or get the apartment she wants, and the only way to do so in time is to freeuse for the nerds like you suggest. Or its an older woman who gets a DUI and her score takes a massive hit. She has to rebuild it to keep her job, etc.
You have a point. I never saw the movie, just the trailers. I'm sure in the movie they had some object lessons of people who's time had run out. I'd never bother to include that in a free-use themed story. But, maybe social points establish your status? This is the future. No one has to work unless they want to. Housing, food and entertainment are free, but people might be rated from A+ to D, and their accomodations and lifestyle are directly related to that. Want a sit-com style apartment instead of a realistic four hundred sq/ft walk up, get your social score up over A It can be done with money, or having a high status job, but you can get rewarded points from grateful people you have done 'favors' for. A queen bee can get points just from people kissing her ass, figuratively. But what if some nerd hacked her social score and suddenly the only way she can get points is being 'nice' to the all the boys she would not have previously given the time of day to before. I'm suddenly seeing a revenge of the Nerd's theme where she has to become the free-use maid of their fraternity. She's only allowed to wear a frilly fetish style french maid outfit. No panties. Oh, and she actually does have to do housework. She can't just lay around until one of the boys wants a little relief.
Yeah that's a hot setup. I think it'd be great if it was a more gradual downward slide, and the carrot of re-gaining her social status is always just out of reach. 'Ugh my score dropped to a B. I'll just have to give one nerd a blow job and I'll be back on top' 'WTH, my score dropped to a C! Fine, I'll just go to one of their parties and bang the Frat President. Then I'll be back on top.' 'A D?! I have to move in with them!? At least it's only a week..." And so on. You [aka the hacker] could also fuck with her by having random actions send her score up or down without warning. Helping an old lady across the street? Typically it gains one point. Now suddenly it costs her 20. Being rude to a waiter? Typically it costs two points. Suddenly it gains her 5. So she spends a day acting like a complete bitch to "build" her score, only the next day it is "fixed", her score freefalls again, and now all the people she insulted are the ones she has to earn her points from. Keep her on her toes.
I'm not sure if I'll post, but if I did it would be public with people being able to develop their own threads in this futuristic social score system.
If you want to see a mainstream take on the subject, the "social points" idea was depicted in an episode of the Netflix show "Black Mirror" called "Nosedive." (Although as you might expect, it didn't really deal with the sexual aspect of things.) Thinking about "In Time," which I have seen: it's very easy to imagine that, in a world where time is money, only the rich (people with a lot of time) would be able to have long, romantic sexual encounters where they try out a lot of positions, etc. Among the poor, and probably even the middle-class, all sexual encounters would be quickies -- people would develop the skills to get their partner (and themselves) off as soon as possible.
After thinking on it I find I like the idea that instead of a life time counter, you have a social contract counter, hardwired into your body. In the world of the future everything is supplied by the government. Housing, food, entertainment. Not directly, but you don't have money, you have points. You get a basic necessity stipend that covers basic needs. But if you want to live a nicer lifestyle you need to have better numbers that show you contribute in a positive way to society. Rescue a stuck cat from a tree. Help a little old lady across the street, not that there are little old ladies, Then someone devises a device that lets them hack someones social contract number. Or maybe the government just decides that women need to supply sexual relief to men to gain social contract points. Ironically it would be the females who were very well off previously who would be the most desperate to retain their lifestyle. The poorer females would not really see any change in their life if they just gave the whole thing a bit Fuck-you. Unless they wanted to gain points this way. I like the aspect of "In Time" where everyone is at the peak of health, young and beautiful. My original idea was for some Mal-dom free-use fantasy, but other people could take it down a path that is not so dark.
Since you mention Black Mirror, they *did* also have an episode that dealt with the sexual aspect called "Fifteen Million Merits."
the story would be public if I started it. so anyone could modify it as they like. My current idea is that as well as the readout showing how much time they have left, there is a text section that tells them how much money they have to pay to get another day. Suddenly some people get a different readout. A woman might get instructions to swallow an ounce of sperm to gain a day of time. On the other hand a guy might recieve an instruction to feed an ounce of sperm to a woman to gain time. There might also be a GPS indicating the location of someone they can get together with to fit the requirements.
