With an annoyed hiss, the snakeman hides his pistol again and heads downstairs, walking through the village as fast as he can in order to get back into the forest. Once he's there, he starts to move a lot more quietly, sneaking around as best he can as he makes his way to where he heard the shot.

"Well, tell me what it is." He says politely.

He traces the shape of the ritual markings, his fingers a few inches above it. Interesting... the layout suggests- BLAM ...Well, that will have to wait. Tlazohuitl gets his pistol out and tries to make sure that the dimension-hopping hasn't messed with any of the workings while he tries to work...

Eikyo nods and leads, going to find His Lordship's rooms. When he gets there, he knocks politely.

"Good... then I should go see him now, right?"

"I think it's the former thief... but I don't know. I'd like him under a closer watch, if that's possible. What was the other one of my missions? Negotiating between the clan and a samurai?"

"Thank you... that will be all."

"Mmm... do you do anything other than work here? Hobbies? Other jobs?" (Sorry for the massive delay in replying.)

He looks at it for a long moment, considering his options... He didn't really want to go out into the village and search for whoever did this, but at the same time, he wasn't going to work out what the rite did without finding who made it... Was there anything else in the room that might give a...

I've been slowly putting together my characters, and I'm getting toward done, but I have several questions: Do you have to pay for racial abilities your avatar has? What kind of racial abilities would a snake-man have (and would he even need to be given any if I don't want them?)? Are bisexual...

That's not good, the part-dragon thinks. "Say, do you have access to the gunpowder stores?"

He gently places the prayer beads on the table. "Do you recognize these?"

"Have a good day." He replies, mentally adding, "Please try not to die and leave me alone in a hostile village." He waits a few moments after she's left, before he gets back onto his knees again and looks under the bed, trying to work out what the ritual does.

"That's good to know... I think I can handle a lynch mob, but I would prefer not to have to try. I hope the patrol goes well."

"Sir will do. Can we have a little talk?"

"What sort of a bit more help? I could use anything I could get."

"That did go well, yes. And please bring in the servant."

"Merely asking for your help in catching a thief; which I believe is part of your duty?.. You may go."

"...Anything to add?"

(Can he tell if they're lying or not, or oddly nervous?) "Alright... I found these at the end of a trail of gunpowder leading back to the storerooms. A bit unusual, don't you think?"
