Okay, thank you for reading the chapter and your comments. You are using "melodrama," I believe in the classical sense, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I was using it in the more pejorative sense, of something being "melodramatic."

I agree. Of late I have been working on a much more romantic branch, but what exactly is the difference between "romance" and "erotic coupling" I'm not 100% sure. I guess with a comic book inspired story that has several themes, "fanfic" is the best.

This is a major fantasy of mine. I would love to write a story and be able to illustrate it myself, but I can't draw to save my life. I even took a drawing class once solely for this purpose.

Yeah, I would put it in the "so bad it's good" category. I read one place that what makes something "so bad it's good" is when a film is made with great passionate by people who have no idea what they are doing. Good point. I loath that stuff, thus my desire to avoid sounding like a soap opera...
