It has been suggested that I post a request for THIS story here: I've contributed to it already, plan to contribute more, and the original author has apparently abandoned both it and the site: may I please adopt; https://chyoa.com/story/Ebony-Harem.6079 ?

Disagree, slightly: I think anyone should be able to suggest an option, but except story owners, editors, and authors it has to be approved like a chapter. Thus, those who are not good at writing, or at least think they are not good enough to contribute to a story, can still make suggestions...

This Gets My +1.

Chapter titles are... Not my favorite things, to be honest. It's hard to make them pithy and punchy, they have to explain what the chapter will be about and yet grab the reader's attention, and they have to be written before the chapter itself, even though the chapter will probably diverge from...

You know, honestly, it feels a bit, (what's a good word?), Cheap? I wasn't even really gunning for SotW right now and: BAM, it happens out of the blue. It sort of feels like I won because no one else was eligible for the award last week, not because I earned it...

I know, right? I didn't even know it had happened until I logged in and suddenly my notifications were like sixty items long...!

Fair. I find it easy to filter out the content I'm not interested in, but I keep my list short to begin with...

Why not just favorite the author? (I'm curious...)

I expected I would turn out to have expressed myself badly, and as usual, I was correct. I'm not irritated by your talking or making a suggestion, im irritated by your not taking "No" for an answer. It can't be done without a massive increase in funding: if you can't provide that, accept that...

As I read this thread I got more and more annoyed. (Not angry, just irritated.) This website is MASSIVE and entirely coded and designed by one guy. What you ask is not impossible, no, but it is expensive and difficult. What I want you to ask yourself is not whether this is possible, but...

I'm in the eye of a tornadic storm right now: prayers would be good.

Name: Jacen Calrissian Race: Human (African-Derivation) Class: Scoundrel (Very Mild* Force-Sensitive) (???: not sure on the system) *[was tested by the Jedi as a young child and considered just barely too weak to be worth training, also already tainted by the dark side, there was much fear in...

I've had a player express interest in re-activating: https://forum.chyoa.com/threads/possession-furys-road-quest.1417/ We would not be starting over, rather picking up where the game left off. We need at least 3 interested players besides myself before I will agree that there is enough...

I've been finding that doing it for the likes is corrosive to my confidence and productivity. I have to do it because I have a story I want to tell and ideas I want to get out there, I have to do it for me and not anyone else... (YMMV)
