I would to love to be able to put a story under multiple categories! I constantly cross genres within one story. Maybe limit it to the top three most applicable genres though, just so every story isn't published under every category to attract the most views.

Passed the 1000 likes and 100,000 views milestone! Woooo! ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

Wow, in less than three days Magic Marker now officially has the most likes of any story that I have published! Even Hogwarts School of Witchdom and Fuckery which boasts 800 likes with over twice the chapters has been dethroned and that's been up for months! Really happy with how the story is...

I really appreciate it! I'm a slut for comments :D

I do this too!

Interesting idea! I never thought about how it is written changing how it affects the person. I chose to capitalize it from a formatting point of view, just so it was easier for the reader to tell what is actually written and not. I do already have a few ideas regarding longevity of the...

First comment in! and it's goooooooooooooooood! *Siren horn noises*

So, I've just released a new story - https://chyoa.com/story/Magic-Marker.23647 The basic plot revolves around a magical marker that enables the user to change themselves and others both physically and mentally by writing on their skin. So far the response has been great. It already has more...

So my newest story Magic Marker has already surpassed the amount of likes in a day over my first story that I posted over a year ago...

I don't know how hard it would be to implement but I was thinking that the chapter depth metric could be calculated by the longest story path possible without looping through the same chapter more than once. I have a story here...

I struggled with this trade off when I started introducing conditional chapters. Do you like reading in game mode and doing multiple runs or do you prefer being able to jump around more?

Yep. I just started using them on one of my stories. You can hide variable changes or make them visible (they show up on the side bar) this lets the reader know if you want them to know if they have changed anything that might relate to a chapter condition. I use the variables in the sidebar...

Maybe a quality score? Like an overall score on the story like 4.5 out of 5 stars or a percentage score out of 100. That way it can be averaged after a certain amount of scores and ranked? You could break down the rankings even further like just for the last week, month, year or of all time...

500+ likes over 65+ chapters and growing! https://chyoa.com/story/Hogwarts-School-of-Witchdom-and-Fuckery.19341

My current story: Hogwarts School of Witchdom and Fuckery - https://chyoa.com/story/Hogwarts-School-of-Witchdom-and-Fuckery.19341

Conditions only affect chapters that are set up for them but the reader would have to read in 'game' mode. Also, I like your top ten idea for a ratio over a certain amount of views. I feel like the system metrics reward quantity of chapters over quality which may not be the best incentive for...

Hogwarts School of Witchdom and Fuckery - https://chyoa.com/story/Hogwarts-School-of-Witchdom-and-Fuckery.19341

Hey just looking to get any feedback and/or advice on my recent story HSOWAF as have not received too many comments to help me make sure I'm sailing in the right direction. I'm just about to start introducing conditional chapters which I have never played around with before if anyone has any...

Does story category impact views that much from experience? I've just posted my first story under Sci-Fi but really it could be classed under multiple categories. I feel like I could get more views under a different classification.
