It took almost two weeks but another chapter is up. Sorry, I just really haven't been in the mood to write.

Have I ever mentioned how happy it makes me to watch someone slowly 'like' their way through something I've written? :)

I haven't been asked and haven't volunteered any personally identifiable information so I feel pretty anonymous here. Nothing's 100% safe these days but if someone goes to the trouble of hunting me down for some reason, I suspect they'll do it through Google, not CHYOA lol!

I'm still here. I just haven't been in a writing mood. Sorry :)

I own some cards (I bought a few prelease sets on a lark) but have never played with actual cardboard.

I used to play HS ladder a lot until I found Arena. I still fire the HS client up on occasion but that's always for Battlegrounds now.

I play some MTG on Arena but am very not good. Still, it's a fun way to kill time :)

Another chapter is up. I admit something feels off about it though. There may be a rewrite when I figure it out. . .

It sounds to me like it'd get really confusing really fast! Not my kind of story but I think it'd be pretty different from what I see on the front page for the genre.

It doesn't to me. I have a short story 'story' that's pretty close to straight porn. I just throw little one and two shots there. I end up editing it a lot because my bad grammar/word choices irk me. I couldn't keep looking at something there that was 'off' to me. It's why I keep my stuff...

Yeah. I keep my main story private so I haven't run into this but it seems to me you have a few options. You could message them and ask about it, offer to edit the grammar some, or reject with suggestions to improve. I wouldn't just approve it myself though because every time I saw the chapter...

It's a weird feeling for me. I'm used to getting home from work and itching to write. That just hasn't happened this week and it just seems bizarre to me. It'll come back to me soon enough I think.

I did get one more chapter out a few days ago but just haven't been in a writing mood since. Hopefully, my muse will return soon :)

I'm not aware of any way to search the Mode field. Hopefully if there is a way, someone will drop by and share it!

I like this suggestion. The first time I read a game mode story, I figured out what each meant through trial and error. It wasn't clear to me what the difference between the two was. Perhaps I'm the slow one here lol! I think 'Pause Game' or something along those lines would have cleared up...

Maybe that option should just be renamed? 'End Game' does sound a lot like it's going to make you start over.

I'd be cool with some way to search a user's name and get a list of all stories they contributed a chapter to. I'm not aware of an easy way to do this on CHYOA.

The chapters tab on the author's page is the only place I know of that shows what contributions an author has made outside their own stories. I don't think search touches the author's page at all, to be honest. I added a listing of what I've written in my signature here but I don't think a lot...
