Drew contentedly exhaled, taking a swig of his drink. He didn't particularly care all that much that she was teasing him beyond compare. The attention was lovely enough, and the sensation of her softness draping over his body started to fill a void long empty in his life. "We're all running...

"Although if you buy me enough drinks you can call me whatever you'd like." "Heh, we'll see about that." The reply slipped through his lips like molten butter, and sounded just as calorific. Drew mentally stopped himself. Far too long, obviously. The cybernetic server produced a tablet...

Drew swung his arm into the space Jia's form had vacated to no avail. Impressed, he blinked. His limited engineering knowledge did not include cloaks of this power and magnitude, and both astonishment and apprehension gripped his throat. Their employer was not one to be trifled with. I need more...

Pretty much anything by Prince right now

Haaaaa, she touched my-- Drew stopped mentally drooling with a start, then chastised his libido. His brain flipped through an endless array of STIs. Yersinia, nesritis, and even classic gonorrhea was still around. It didn't matter that antivirotics were out there. You only just met her, man. He...

Drew's grin grew to its full extent... as did something else down below, forcing his to shift his leg with a cough. He turned to Win -- and her assets -- and nodded his head as she slinked into her seat again. "Well, Winnifred, it doesn't hurt to clarify."

Drew scratched his scruff as he examined the compound presented by Jia. He tapped a few controls, bringing up a 3D render of the compound's structure. "Huh, a hydrolase... clever, clever." Explains why I was contacted then, he mused. I think I'm the only freelance doctor that I know of. Well...

PATSY CLINE, YEAH

They were just right... there, and Drew just couldn't help but to stare. At least for a time. She asked some kind of question, possibly to the Camarian, but... but they were just there. "Confirmed, Dr. Andrew Layson, medical doctor and xeno-anthrolpologist," a voice said, and he saw another...

Drew looked up at Mr. Combat Boots and flashed a quick grin. "Yes, thank you." He coughed and lightly drummed the table, mustering the resolve to continue. "Well... I guess we should introduce ourselves?"

It's a classic song by itself, I think it was a great choice. Contrasts the seediness of the dive with the upbeat tempo of the song

Suddenly I'm remembering Lost and how Juliet connected the song to her sister

"When you're dooowwwntowwwwn..."

Knowledge is its own reward son, his mother echoed in his mind But I want to see the galaxy too, Mom! I don't just want to come back here and be a colonial field medic, his younger self intoned. The heavy sigh she released rumbled through Drew's present form as well. One day son, you'll...

Drew will enter stage left soon - he's fiddling around with his cyberprosthetic. Terrible WiFi reception you know

Realistically, I assume tough sells could involve both Win and Andrew, not just in terms of persona but skill sets. Andrew might be able to barter with medical/science skills and equipment

"Negotiator" ;) ... uh, sorry

GURPS was basically designed for stuff like this, so it's a good choice. You can modify is as needed given the scenario and game mechanics as well.
