Asked and answered. Thanks Warden.

So... I've got a follower who likes some of my stories but doesn't like others and gets vocally snarky in the comments when I add chapters to some of them. While everyone is entitled to their opinions, it is kinda poisoning my creative well. Just wanted to know what to expect if I hit the...

Huzzah, I see that you are a gentleman of quality! It really is a timeless classic.

In almost any sci-fi themed threads I write I drop stupidly obscure Star Control II easter eggs. As if any reference to a MS-DOS based video game from 1992 wasn't obscure enough.

To be fair the "Mystery whatever makes every women hot and horny" premise has been done plenty of times before. There's nothing wrong with that, it's all about having a fresh take and/or spin on it. I've used to to good effect myself. Thanks for the reading recommendation, Dissonant Soundtrack...

We all have... tastes, right? I've written some stuff that's pretty darn close to some of those suggestions. No kink shaming here... :p 230. Nerdy young production assistant working on-location for a trashy reality dating show discovers a hidden relic of power that slowly transforms him into a...

Writers can be roughly divided into two groups IMO. Planners - who map out a story first and then write to that structure. And pantsers - who just fly by the seat of their pants and write the words as they come. Famous examples of Pantsers include Neil Gaiman and Stephen King. I'm a pantser...

Yeah I know, I just wanted to update story details and drop a pic onto the title, I don't seem to have those rights as an editor. It's not super important though, so don't worry about it.

I'm back after a long hiatus and am happy to be writing again. Can I please adopt Faeophobia since I am the only author still writing it?

Hey Guys, I just wanted to put in a big thanks to Friedman & everyone who has put in work on the new Chyoa site. I've been overseas for Xmas holidays and I was pleasantly surprised to find a very handy mobile phone (Cellphone to you yanks, methinks) version that worked beautifully while...

No, I don't know how to fix links on CHYOA, I went looking for a link button or icon but couldn't find one. I guess I just haven;t spent enough time on the new site to get super familiar.

Thanks Friedman, I appreciate it.

That story is an oldey but a goodey... I've been meaning to add to it for years.

Hey guys, I'm back and writing again and noted a few things. Firstly and most simply, my thread in Faeaphobia is still pending from early April. I know the editor geordie_lad is meant to be active but he/she doesn't seem to be approving stuff. I would message them but there doesn't seem to be...

An old thread, I know but I've only now read it, there is lots of good advice here and I just wanted to put in my two cents... I don't think there is any guaranteed way to get over writers block, god knows it plagues me far too much but here are a few things that have worked for me in the past...

Thanks Friedman, I appreciate the help with Simon says and will contact Geordie_lad promptly. Cheers again, Meno

Hey Guys, Menoetes here; an on-again and off-again author from the old chyoo site. Anyway I have a few days off coming up early in the coming week and I was planning to get a serious block of writing done (if all goes to plan). However I am concerned that a few threads I posted months ago on a...
