You could always switch to mobile mode. If you're on Windows and Chrome, for instance, press "F12", then "Ctrl-Shift-M". Of course, this generally makes the experience worse, but then I'm not entirely sure why you want to hide the sidebar in the first place.

I guess the one concern I have is less with the typical reader and more potential contributors. I'd want to frame as many of the follow-up questions as I could in such a way that they can easily branch off from that point if they're struck by an inspiration. Of course, the follow-up question is...

Space between end and chat on fourth message?

It looks like view counts have been frozen for several hours. All the new stories published during that time still show 0 views.

I believe the cover picture on one of their stories was considered too obscene and got removed, prompting them to go scorched earth and leave the site.

Okay, I think I figured it out. I combined the first three chapters of the story exactly a month ago. This involved deleting two of the chapters. They must have sat in the deleted bucket until now. I’m guessing deleted content still contributes views to the total until they’re permanently removed.

The story is https://chyoa.com/story/Beast-of-Burden.73303. It had over 96,000 views. I've been watching it since it was about to go over the 100,000 mark, but today it suddenly dropped to a little over 90,000.

I noticed a drop in total page views for my story, though individual page views and the trending metrics don't seem to be affected. Did something change recently in how total page views is calculated? Maybe it now excludes page views from the author or no longer counts views on deleted pages?

Awesome. And I see it works with the "Edit" functionality, so I was able to go back and update the comment that prompted this in the first place. Thanks.

Is it currently possible to put spoiler tags in comments that will hide the text until someone clicks on it? I wasn't able to tell for sure, but the guide suggests this is not the case by recommending that comments include a spoiler warning if needed.
