No worries. What’s happening is that the Rich Text (WYSIWYG) editor is enabled on your CHYOA account, and it’s escaping/rewriting the markdown when you paste it in. To fix it, please disable the rich text editor: Open your settings: Click the arrow in the top-right of the header, then in the...

It looks like the issue here is that the parentheses in your image tag are getting escaped by the editor. That usually happens when you’re using the “what you see is what you get” (WYSIWYG) editor. It tries to “sanitize” the markup and ends up breaking the Markdown image syntax, so you only see...

It sounds like the “Latest Chapters”/“Recent Activity” feeds are sorting by a timestamp that’s incorrect on some chapter records. I’m going to take a look at the affected chapters and see what I can do to get them corrected so the feeds sort properly again. Thanks for flagging it. The issue is...

Thank you for flagging this. This should be fixed now, and stories without a cover should once again display the generic image as expected. Thanks again for the report.

Thanks for the report (and for including the stack trace). I did a site upgrade, and something went wrong during the upgrade which caused a fatal error across pages. I’ve corrected the issue now, so the site should be loading normally again. If you notice anything else still behaving oddly (or...

Hey, thanks for your message. I’ve added you as an author, so your chapters will be approved automatically from now on. I also approved the chapters that were currently under review. Happy writing! :)

Happy New Year! Hope you have a great start to 2026.

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out, and sorry you’re running into this. We haven’t changed anything related to browser compatibility or logins, so CHYOA should work on Firefox and in incognito/private windows. I also just tested logging in on Firefox on my end and it worked normally. Given...

Thanks for reaching out. When a story is set to “moderated,” the story itself still needs an initial approval by a site moderator before it can go live, and that can take up to 24 hours. The “Review Chapters” section under your account is for chapters within your story that you manage/review...

No worries at all! Messaging me is totally fine. I’ve added you as an editor on The Amnesiac Overlord now, so you should be good to go. Happy writing! :)

Hi gscmar, Thank you for the report! I really appreciate you flagging this. I’ve removed all spam comments from Erotic532 and blocked the account from posting further. I also added the domain ending they were using to our comment spam filter, so it should no longer be possible to post the same...

Hey, Thanks for letting me know. I removed the images, so you're good now. Happy writing!

Hey, I added you as an owner to the story. If you need anything else, let me know. Happy writing! :)

Hey, thanks for your post. I think I approved your story by now. Happy writing! :)

Hey, I added you to the story. Happy writing! :)

Hi there, Thanks for your post. I added a new setting to the stories that allows you to opt out of story adoption. If this checkbox is checked, we won't assign your story to another user. Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks for this! “Go to Current” is now live on the story map pages. Appreciate the nudge. If you spot any quirks, just let me know. :)

Hey! I just approved your chapter and added you as an author, so that future chapters will be approved automatically. Happy writing! :)

Hi Yves, All set! I’ve manually approved the chapters you submitted and added you as an author on 7 Little College Girls, so any future chapters you post will go live automatically. Happy writing!
