"Of course. I do understand the difficulty of your position and am eager to find an agreement." She held on her professional airs as she contemplated. Of course, she already had an idea what one of his intentions would be. He was far from handsome, but she had done more with uglier men before...

Using a more structured and clearly written system could be fun. But, I guess there’s a question of it, because I don’t think that many people here are actually familiar with DnD or really follow it that closely of what the setting is or what’s actually involved in it. People have joined lot’s...

(Thanks) "Ah, then I suppose I shall." She held the glass between her finger tips appreciatively, waiting at least the first ten seconds before wafting than drinking. After going through the whole usual dance, she could tell it was well worth it as she savored it. "You know my tastes well...

"Oh, do not ask the governor to strain himself on my account. I shall wait for when he's ready." As she spoke to the butler, she had no doubt this man likely could tell she didn't mean a word of it. He was likely well used to all the typical nobility greetings and going through the motions, to...

"Best get this under way soon then. He won't wait forever. We'll have time to leverage him better after the fact." Catherine assumed it would be better to make her move now than later. Luckily, she had most of the work in place by now to do so and was ready to make her move for swaying the governor.

"It's true." She knew all this already, but it was good to hear it confirmed by someone else. "We simply need to lead him to believe he's playing both sides for all the benefits and none of the risks....we'll prove that's not the case. Eventually. But for now, we're in need of an ally and he can...

(Went with a club singer type in the end) Name: Caroline Burke(Formerly Engel) History: A German woman and club singer who immigrated to America in her youth, charming many men for her looks, and talent, but very few caught her attention. Her husband, a major figure in the Whiteland mob...

(Yeah, I've been looking. Really can't find anything that isn't just loli shit or highschool girls that are obviously intended to be loli shit while saying it's not. Also not sure if you want to go through this whole process or cut ahead a bit.) "Lucien is doing important work for the family...

It had been somewhat of an eventful week, but after having properly rested, she was feeling a bit more confident about what she could do and what her approach might be. She rose to get dressed and eat with the family. She already knew there wasn't much to be done while Lucien went through...

"If you insist. I know you'll do well." She yawned seeing no point in arguing herself out of help and walked down to retire to the master bedroom for some proper rest.

“Will you?” Catherine smiled a bit, as she approached him. While it would be an exaggeration to say she was an easy person to get to really express emotionally in a overt way, she placed a hand along his shoulder and gave him a very light and brief hug. “You have such a good heart, Lucien.”...

(I’ll try searching later today) Confidence issues aside, he was pretty well studied at these kinds of things. “Ah, Lucien. If you really want to offer your assistance, I’d be grateful.”

“Do as you will. I’ll have the servants prepare something. There’s much to be done.” She wondered what exactly was it he had in mind by proposing this, but logically, his plan made sense on paper. Surely, he wasn’t suggesting this because he gets absolutely nothing out of it. Either trying to...

"The Méduse." She knew what he was referring too and look a little amused by it. "It's quite elegant to look at, but it's mostly just a vanity project about having a ship designed entirely in France." She did mind referring to as that. She only commissioned it too be impressive to the right...

(Distracted with lot's of things right now, sorry) "And what's that?" She looked at him with curiosity at his proposal that he had some kind of plan.

He had inherited her looks, yet, that seemed to be about it. While did feel love for all of them, she had difficultly saying any of them could adequately be considered ready or capable of being proper heirs. Louis, was sociable, confident, capable, but had the cunning of a bull. Lucien, her...

(Going to sleep soon. Just writing something out quick.) The raven haired countess felt a tremendous migraine coming. Managing all these ships and trade agreements on her lonesome was no trivial task. She has always been better at negotiations and making deals, but she would rather leave the...

"Mmm..,yes, love." The countess braced herself for the old man's touch. She had always been sure to wear a dress that keeps her bountiful breasts on display, knowing full well what the dirty old man likes. The low heated moan she gave was mostly fake, and on a level partially because of having...

Maybe something like an actress works? My brain isn’t totally focused right now to think.
