    Gender of POV Characters?

Interesting question! I used to think it was male, but upon rereading my earlier stories, I've been writing from a woman's POV this entire time. I especially enjoy doing it more deliberately and, if you will excuse the pun, explicitly.

Do you write for a queer or trans audience?

I think that makes since. A lot of trans experiences and fantasies are straight after all. I also find a lot of lesbian content dull, and I am a lesbian. I think too much is written by straight men fantasizing about porn. That's what I mean by writing for a queer audience. There's a lot gay...

Do you write for a queer or trans audience?

I am exhausted of philosophical questions of authority and experience. Everywhere I go, I run into members of the LGBTQIA community like you, or allies that expect me to engage in devils advocate arguments with middle school level debate rhetoric. I just wanted to know about queer content...

Do you write for a queer or trans audience?

Nope. I would have asked that instead if that's what I meant. I meant are there any people het or queer or cis or trans that write with a queer or non cis audience in mind. I think it is substantially more difficult to write for an audience you don't share experiences with, but I would be...

Do you write for a queer or trans audience?

I don't know how I can be clearer. My perspective is you should experience the things you want to write about and then extrapolate upon that. Authenticity helps sell the most fantastic elements. Aside from that, the more you read the better you write. That's my perspective.

Do you write for a queer or trans audience?

Yes you write what you want to do. But a lot of queer sex is learned by doing, just like everything. No offense, but you seem to be arguing in terms of fairness that don't apply. It does not matter why a work doesn't resonate with an audience. It only matters if it does. This isn't a cut and...

Do you write for a queer or trans audience?

Use your imagination, by all means, but your work will seem more grounded if you add details that feel authentic, and lived experience is the best teacher of that. If you haven't had queer sex, it's not like time travel or cloning or space ships. Your audience will know if your scenarios have...

Do you write for a queer or trans audience?

Okay. That's all fine. But you are writing with an audience in mind, right? All I or DC was asking are if any writers are writing with a queer audience in mind. It's fine that conversations diverge, but remember there is no expectation on us to follow you along a path we weren't planning on...

Do you write for a queer or trans audience?

This is so well said. This is what I mean about writing for a queer audience btw. I don't mean queer characters or gay sex, which is cool if you want to include. I think it's better if you do it respectfully, and you can always ask for feedback if you aren't sure about representation. But what...

Do you write for a queer or trans audience?

Fair question. The answer is complicated. I think it's best if queer writers write for a queer audience, if only because they know what at least one queer reader is into. If you are going to write for an audience you aren't a member of, maybe get input from someone who is? More content is...

Do you write for a queer or trans audience?

I get these concerns for sure. I would much rather people avoid these topics than fetishize them and it can be challenging to walk that line in erotica even when you belong to the group you are portraying.

Do you write for a queer or trans audience?

You said it "the community should be more inclusive and whatnot, which would be bullshit in this specific case." I included a few reasons why the community is NOT currently inclusive and countered your sole argument, that most people here are cis, as a reason for why there should not be more...

Do you write for a queer or trans audience?

I have always found a lot of queer appeal to your work, and I am glad we have stories exploring gender non conforming stuff. Cis doesn't have to be such a narrow role and I love seeing men explore femininity. Keep up the good work!

Do you write for a queer or trans audience?

So you think it would be "bullshit" that the community should be more inclusive? You don't think there are trans writers here that don't feel comfortable enough to post openly trans positive stories? You don't think the "transsexual" category could use more trans representation and less "futas"...

Do you write for a queer or trans audience?

I am very aware of this and didn't actually ask for an explanation. I was looking for authors writing queer stuff. Because I'm queer and trans and yes crazy outnumbered and under represented and want to see more beautiful dolls getting their happy ending, with some smut thrown in to help it...

Hi! I'd love for them to review Hela U. It's not too deep but there are numerous endings and choices already. The link is https://chyoa.com/story/Hela-University.34228 Thanks!

Do you write for a queer or trans audience?

I've noticed that most of the fiction here is written with a cis lens, even in the transsexual section. I wrote a lot of it myself. It's only recently that I have been writing specifically with a trans and queer audience in mind, and I wondered if anyone else is?

Planned Would it possible to add more gender options to our profiles?

Good news! Friedman messaged me to say he likes the idea and will implement it. Thanks for the support, everyone.

Planned Would it possible to add more gender options to our profiles?

I'll be honest, I don't know what the fix is, but having multiple fields that separate birth or real gender from what someone identifies with will not solve the problem. Again, without knowing how they'd code it, I would like a simple text field for gender.
