I have a bunch of stories, many have dead ends. I decide on what to pick up and work on based partly around what got views. I figure if a lot of people read something they might want more. However this can be pretty hard to do sometimes. After all I am not going to write down view counts in excel and track them week to week. Having a youtube style statistics page for each story would be a huge help. Week over week views, multiple views from the same user, favorites, and external links would all be helpful. Honestly this is a pretty low priority right now though, just something to consider
