I have a bunch stories that I am working on and they all tend to develop plots and characters on a emotional level. It's just I fall in love with different stories. Like one I adopted, I don't think I can add anymore to Slave girl Sarah. Or at least I am all about woman overcoming said experiences rather than enjoying their suffering. Some of these stories (not all here) I get bummed out. Does that make sense?
Masters can love their slaves, and vice versa. A slave can find spiritual freedom in devotion to the master. Complete freedom is just slavery to your own desires, which can be fleeting and leave you with regret or without purpose after you have acted on them. Devotion to something greater is freedom from yourself. Why should Sarah's suffering as a slave be greater than the joy she feels from submitting?
I dont understand submission. I want to understand it but I dont. I guess Intrying to understand it through this story.
Yeah, I've never felt the need to submit myself, either. The way I've always heard it explained from the female perspective is that a female protagonist's submission is what allows a sexy man to fully express his desire for her. The bottom is really the one in control. Rape or being forced in a story is really an expression of how desirable the female protagonist is. She's so irresistible that her lover/rapist can't restrain himself. This works better if she actually finds the lover/rapist attractive. Otherwise it's just about her losing control. Of course, if you write stories for men, it doesn't really matter what the women think of their lovers/rapists or why they submit to them.
The subs I've met have one thing in common (well for the most part), the ability to switch it on and off. For a sub it's important to be able to find their 'subspace' and knowing how to access it and more importantly how to keep it on ice until needed. The tough bit is finding the right sub/Dom to be with. Different people need slightly different things, finding a sub/Dom who can bring about the right circumstances/atmosphere to suit a person's needs is a difficult thing. Without the right sub/Dom it's like trying to play tennis on your own, you'll get a feel for it but it's not a proper game. Writing definitely helps in my opinion, it broadens the mind and forces you to think as others do, well i try to at least!
