I discovered this story quite by accident, I was pressing the random story search repeatedly and just happened across it. Adventurers of a Monster Tamer I started contributing and before I knew it my chapters made up more than half of those in the whole story... Most of it is very underdeveloped, but my personal SL has reached a point where it can go one of several ways. Either the main character can: A: use magic to triumph; B: turn and run; C: charm/seduce the monster; Or D: have something unexpected happen... In the case of option A, this leads to another question: How Do Magic and Monster Types actually work in this Setting? 1: It is Similar to "Magic: The Gathering". 2: It is similar to "Puzzles & Dragons: X". 3: It is similar to an adult version of "Pokémon", with magic just allowing humanoids to use moves like a "monster"... 4: It is similar to "Dungeons & Dragons". 5: It is similar to "GURPS". ( The protagonist is going to have a long slow slog to get to the point Ka's a proper Wizard...) 6: Dude, stop cribbing off other people's systems and create your own! I would like some feedback from the community about which course they think I should write next and also which magic system they think would be best to employ... My latest chapter is "Orcish Paramour & Dragoness Attack": that's where I'm stuck at the moment. I'll wait a week for any advice/critique to come in, then if there isn't any responses or there's a deadlock I'll use my best judgement...
Well, I got distracted by other projects and took a lot longer than a week to make my decision, but I ended up going with A-4&1, anyone who wants to give it another look and tell me if I did good, pipe up...
And I came to another point where I was unsure how to proceed, so I posted a "Quest Moment" in the story itself as I've had better results with asking for input in the story itself... Here's the link: https://chyoa.com/chapter/A-Goblin-Encampment-[Quest-Moment].349549
