It has probably come to the attention of some of you that While I have returned to writing, I'm still being slow with the games and not yet started updating my main story Shadow Hunters. So thought I would give some of the reasoning behind that.

Shadow Hunters is by far my favorite endeavor and I will continue it. I have many big plans in store for it and continuations with other characters in the same universe. I also plan to continue my work with Power Play, Forbidden Temptations, The Moon Dog, and Cantalope's Game Monster.

But I recently had a lot of things happen that killed my creative spirit for a while. In all honesty, I had a fight with my grandmother. After my grandpa passed away, I basically moved in with her and took care of her for almost eight years. Five years ago, I met a woman that last year became my wife. Two years ago, I moved in with her and we have been living happily every since. The problem is, my grandmother became jealous of my wife. She didn't like that I wasn't with her all the time anymore and began interfering in our marriage. It almost caused us to separate and I finally had to make it clear that while I still loved my grandma, my wife came first. She couldn't take that, and told me that she was no longer my grandmother. This was very painful for me.

So for a while I couldn't write at all. I tried, but nothing was coming out like I liked. When I started having a small fire of inspiration return, I started work on Final Fantasy Worlds, which I also plan on working on more. But then my grandmother started continued to cause problems and it again became hard to write. Until one night my wife was bored and I suggested she read some of Shadow Hunters and give me feedback. I went to work, and left her reading. When I checked my phone after work, I had almost twenty messages from her saying how much she loved it and how she wanted me to treat her as Lobo had treated Venus. Her interest in my story (And the amazing night she gave me after reading it) renewed my spark to write again.

But I'm still going through quite a bit of emotional things with my family because of my grandmother, so for now I'm focusing on a more lighthearted story, Monster Girl Brothel. I will resume all my stories soon, but for now I'm working on this story to help clear my head and going to work on only it until we are finished moving from the house we rent from my grandmother. I'm sorry for the delays to my main story and lesser stories, but I have not forgotten them and will work on them again soon.

    Ouch. That's rather crappy, man.

Good on you for standing by your wife. I sincerely believe you would have regretted letting your grandmother destroy your relationship with her.

Hopefully everything pans out for the best, and she realizes just how cruel and selfish her actions were.

We'll still be here when you make it back! Take care, man.

Sorry to learn about how you grandmother is treating you. It's hard when it's family you care about. Older folk have a harder time adapting to change too but hopefully she will come to accept your new way of life.

Nothing inspires a writer more than a captive audience. In my mind anyways. With that kind of a reader close at hand, you will probably find more things to try out before you know it.

Thanks for understanding guys. It really means a lot to me. We were supposed to get moved at the end of this week, but the guy living there hasn't left yet. He has fourteen days to get out or all his stuff belongs to the guy renting the place to him. When we move in, it will not just be renting, he is letting us rent to own a double wide trailer that we are going to move to land my wife's family owns.

I am starting to feel better now and things are starting to look up for us. The support I've gotten here and from my wife and in-laws has really helped me through some of the harder times and I'm trying to reconnect with my parents as well. Hopefully things will keep turning for the better and I'll be back at full writing capacity soon.

I've got a lot of plans in the works for Monster Girl Brothel, so since we've got another two weeks on our hands and since work is finally letting up on over time (Unless first shift screws us over again...) I should be able to get some writing done Wednesday or Thursday and hopefully get the next girl introduced to the brothel. Hematoma also supplied a great idea for girls five and six, and if anyone else has any good ideas, please send me a private message so we can keep it a surprise.
