Aria Villeena Age: 20 Gender: Female Race: Faun Weapon: Staff Affiliated God: Tulris Magic: Bramble Thorn: Thorny vines come out of the ground and wrap around the enemy, stabbing them and doing nature damage. Bark Armor: Grow a protective coating of bark to shield the caster from damage. Can also be used to make a dome over the party, but is less durable. Healing Rain: Calls forth a small cloud that pours a healing liquid upon the party. Heals for a small to medium amount Bio: Aria grew up as the adopted daughter of the current High Priestess. She has known little of the world outside of the glade that Tulris' followers have been living in for the past thirty years. She is well loved by the followers and was a popular choice to replace the elderly woman that raised her. She has many friends and few enemies. Aria is bisexual, but still a virgin. Nathanial Taler: Age: 33 Gender: Male Race: Human Weapon: Naginata (The weapon Guan Yu has in Dynasty Warriors) Affiliated God: Tulris Magic: None Nathanial "Nathan" Taler is a warrior that has been with the glade for nearly ten years. He has acted as a guard for the followers of Tulris during that time and is well respected. When Aria announces her pilgrimage, he is among the first to volunteer as a guardian. Liam Holwick Age: 27 Gender: Male Race: Human Weapon: None Affiliated God: Tulris Spirit Familiar: Helvast, Shadow Spirit Magic: Shadow Sphere: Launches a single Orb of shadow energy to damage an enemy for high damage. Can also be used to cast several smaller orbs that do light damage per hit. Devouring Darkness: Holds an enemy in a dark prison for 3 rounds, dealing minor damage each turn and stopping the enemy from attacking or escaping. Shade Walker: Hides the caster in Shadows, making him unable to be seen or attacked. Shadow Dragon: A dragon of Darkness attacks the enemy for massive damage, but leaves the caster unable to move or attack for three turns. Bio: Liam has only been with the glade and Followers about a year. Many worry about the dark magic he is able to cast since not all Shadow Spirits are friendly enough to make into familiars. His magic isn't tainted by a demon, so he has been allowed to remain. Many wonder why Aria selected him as a companion.
Nea Halven Age: 22 Gender: Female Race: Human Weapon: Dagger Affiliated God: None yet Spirit Familiar: Name: Lyna Appearance: Wavy dark blue hair that reached to the middle of her back, with eyes and tail in the same color. If she was human-sized her breasts would be a D cup. She looks like a mature woman and most of the time acts like it, but can be playful and mischievous if she feels like it. Magic: Water Bolt: Shoots a bolt of water that deals medium water damage to one target Water Shield: Creates a protective sphere of water around the caster. The size can be increased to cover more people but that also increases the power needed to create it Summon Water: Summons a small amount of clean drinkable water Bio: Nea is the fifth child of farmers from a small village. She has five siblings: four older and one younger. When Nea was 14, during a storm, she fell into a river and nearly died. She was saved by a beautiful woman. The only thing Nea remembers clearly is that her savior had light blue hair. She is convinced that the woman was a goddess and feels bad that she never got to thank her properly. When Nea woke up after being saved she was found by a water spirit. The two have been together since and water magic has become Nea’s primary defense. After Nea turned 18 she decided to go look for her goddess. Her parents tried to make her reconsider but without success so they wished her best of luck and her father bought her a simple dagger for protection. About a year after leaving her home Nea found the glade where Tulris’ followers had been living and decided to stay there for some time to learn more about the gods. To her disappointment she learned nothing about her savior. When Aria announced her pilgrimage Nea volunteered to accompany her, hoping that it will allow her to meet more gods and possibly even find her goddess (or at least learn more about her). Nea is a lesbian but has very little actual experience with sex.
Glenn Falbrein Age: 20 Gender: Male Race: Human Weapon: Long Sword Affiliated God: Tulris (only one for now) Magic: none for now Bio: Glenn comes from a family of bounty hunters, where he and his mother Leona were the only ones who didn't participate in the family business. Glenn grew up secretly hating the fact that his father and brother spent so much time away from home. Eventually, his father and older brother ended up getting killed on a dangerous job and Glenn found himself having to embrace the career he always despised in order to make money to help his mother, who ran a small bakery. One thing that never changed about him though, was the fact that Glenn, along with his family, was a follower of the God Tulris. When Aria announced her pilgrimage, Glenn decided to offer his services free of charge, hoping to find some valuable treasures along the way so he can stop being a bounty hunter. Glenn has a slender build; short, spiky light brown hair; and blue eyes. He is heterosexual and not a virgin.
Alisha Farks Age: 30 Gender: Female Race: Human Weapon: Tainted claws Affiliated God: Tulris Spirit Familiar: Has an ice spirit familiar called Kryga. She looks like a three inch tall humanoid shaped ice shards vortex. Spells: unknown to the party Bio: Alisha is even more mysterious than Liam. She joined the group only two weeks before pilgrimage started and no one of other followers have ever seen her before. Alisha surely knows basics of Tulris cult and Aria trust but other than that little can be told about her past. One thing can be said for sure. The woman is touched by a demonic taint. Her fingers are replaced by long, ugly, twisted and very sharp bright red claws that look very deadly to whoever she may use it against. Also, Alisha never takes off her mask that covers her chin and mouth. One can expect some other ugliness hidden under it. Character: She is a loner and avoids any communication. The only to persons she was seen talking with is Aria and her spirit. Alisha even eats and sleeps alone, most likely not willing to reveal her face. Appearance: Alisha is rather high for a female with her 6 feets and 2 inches. Because of her habit to wear a cloak, loose robe and a mask that covers lover half of her face she would be easily mistaken for a male if not her long dark hair, very feminine set of brown eyes and high melodic voice. Name: Malcolm Tyton Age: 28 Gender: Male Race: Birdmorph Owl Weapon: Talons Affiliated God: Tulris Spirit Familiar: None Magic: None Bio: Malcolm comes from a long line of wealthy and respected members of his race. As the Godless Empire metastasized throughout the world, Malcolm's people became increasingly isolated as their habitat was destroyed by the human's advance into the forests. Entire villages of Owls were burned and chipped into kindling and lumber, and Malcolm's family often opened their doors to the seemingly never-ending throng of survivors. They set up defenses for many of the major townships, effectively repelling human armies on more than one occasion. Sieges however proved the end of several of them, and now Owls are relegated to the fringes of the forests and thickets, in many cases far beyond their original niches. Faced with the prospect that the Owls were rapidly becoming and endangered species, Malcolm sought to continue his family legacy in another way. Swearing allegiance to Tulris, Malcolm is hoping that with the god's help his people may be able to keep rebuffing humanity's attacks, and once he heard about the new High Priestess's pilgrimage, he thought that there was no better way to cement his faith than to accompany her on the journey. Malcolm is around 6 feet tall and powerfully built to accommodate his flight capabilities. His wings arc down from his arms in long feathers, and they fold over his back when not in use. Due to their size, Owls cannot fly for long stretches of time, and the aerodynamics of their bodies are not optimal for gliding, so Malcolm is limited to short bursts of flight and hopping from one elevated area to another. His chest is barreled for his large lungs, exaggerating his torso in any clothing he wears. His legs end in sharp, enormous talons, perfect for grabbing medium-sized prey, though Malcolm only targets small ground-dwelling animals. His brown and white feathers are limited to his wings and the top of his head, slicked-back to create the appearance of hair. He does have hands, though his pinkie and ring fingers stretch into his wings, providing further support. His eyes are bright yellow and larger when compared to a human's, providing excellent night vision. Sexuality among Owls is... complicated and so is Malcolm's, though his preference is for the opposite sex. (Everything good? )
Darina Hochenwald Age: 24 Gender: Female Race: Human Weapons: Brace of pistols (4), Rapier Affilated God: None Magic: None Bio: Darina never knew her parents, having been orphaned at an early age by an attack upon her city. Having grown up in an orphanage, Darina knew little of the world at large until she was forced to leave the orphanage at 18. She dabbled in many things, however, honest jobs never held her attention for long. Thievery, however, was something she was fairly good at, and she made a living, and a little more, off of that particular talent. She bounced from city to city for several years, working her way towards the outer edges of the Empire, stealing whatever she could. Along the way, she picked up a set of pistols, and found she had a natural talent for them, along with her rapier. Never one to shy away from challenges, she would take duels, landing a string of successes that bolstered her ego, and her confidence. Her penchant for tackling any challenge, and her overconfidence in duels, would nearly be her undoing, however. After getting caught in a particularly wealthy and powerful noble's house, she challenged said noble to a duel, which would ensure her freedom. She bested him, though she did not kill him. That proved to be a grave error, as the nobleman used his extensive reach to see her face plastered on every wall and door of not just the city she was in, but the ones around her, too. With bounty hunters hot on her heels, and guards looking for her at every turn, she took the only option she had and fled into the wilderness, beyond the reach of the Empire's authorities. Beyond the walls, in the "uncivilized" wilds, she began to encounter signs of civilization, beings of various races and backgrounds who weren't the savages the Empire leads its' citizens to believe, but decent people. Many of them are still distrustful of Darina, something she is quite accustomed to, due to her former life, but she finds it fairly disconcerting nonetheless. She has been hired to escort the pilgrimage, notably to several sites near, or possibly even within, the Empire's borders. Appearance: Darina is short, at all of 5' 2" tall, with long, raven-black hair and piercing blue eyes. Her pretty face, coupled with her sensual curves, have earned her more than one glance from men and women of various races. Her usual attire, a tight black tunic, whose laces show a generous amount of her C-cup breasts, and tight black leggings, accentuating her rear, does nothing to discourage those looks. A long cloak and boots, also black, complete her attire.
