So, Story of the Week is nice, and Top Stories is great, and Top Authors is awesome: (I'm not at all biased about that last one because I am one...) so what if we took all of those and set them in a blender on 'puree'? It wouldn't take much, (I think, could be wrong...) just an adaptation and blending of the algorithms for SotW and Top Author, to create a small (one could be enough) section highlighting the top performing author each week... Same rules as SotW for repeats and so forth, to keep it simple, and no one who's already a top author. What says everyone?
Sounds like a great idea for more rewards. It wouldn't take much to add. If you can sort the SotW out surely Top Author of the Week and Top Stories of the Week can be done. It is all up to a certain man at the top.
