Since the characters are a bit different from the original, I've felt that I should create a different thread for this story as well. It's a rewrite of "At the Cabin", but this time it'll have a bigger focus on Zack and his struggles instead of fragmenting the action too much between the characters. The cabin will also be only a part of the story, instead of being almost a character as in the original version. If anyone wants to tell me their thoughts, well, feel free to do so! I'm not sure about glasses, but, you make a very good point about a laptop. I don't know where the hell I had the idea of giving her a meager notepad. Guess I was in an old school vibe, lol. Will edit ASAP.
Changed the story to 'private' while I rework some threads, but I'll change it back to 'public' once I'm done.
Rework is done, story is back to 'public'. I just wanted to give a better introduction to the characters, so I had to switch a few scenes around on my planning for the story.
That's the thing, johnhoftb, for me this is the canon story now, I'll be able to develop the characters so much more here. At The Cabin stays as a multiple-author friendly version of this story; not that anyone can't add threads here, in fact everyone is welcome to do so, but I'm aware that it'll be a bit harder to branch until they get to the cabin.
Story is coming along great. enjoying the tweaks to the characters. Not sure why you get thumbs down every time Vicky gets some attention though. I Mean I'm a Zack-Vicky fan but still, makes the character more interesting. haha
LOL, I've noticed that as well. I guess people just don't want to see her with anyone other than Zack.
I could kind of understand the locker room scene b/c it was way unexpected, but not sure why the principal scene and others got thumbs down. oh well haha. I'm bad at giving thumbs up, need to get into the habit. But personally, really enjoying the story so far
The locker room scene was to show how naive Victoria can be, and to establish she's becoming curious about sex, maybe I went a bit too far, but well, this is an erotic story, lol. The other scenes with the Principal and Kevin were to set up other plots and the alternate version of the Kevin scene I put there just in case someone wanted to add a sexy romp between them in the office.
I'm with you. I liked the scenes. i guess I think thumb downs should be for poorly written scenes, not "I disagree with this scene"
I have a similar problem, any time I introduce a guy charterer outside of the protagonist it gets down voted.
It's a curious pattern in this case, because I have other male characters, it only seems to happen when it's Victoria getting some action with other males. Precisely, both stories are available for reading and for authors to add new threads. I just started Azure Rocks Chronicles because the story I wanted to tell didn't fit on At The Cabin. The old version focus on the cabin trip, whereas this one will have stories both before and after the trip.
Might be that. Funny thing is that they never quite got together in the first story. If I had to point out a main pairing on the first version, it'd be Zack/Heather.
