Hello my dear Readers. I would like to hear your thoughts about this story. Main character is of course Batman. The idea is to write very long chapters where each one is a separate story in which batman corrupts another hero or villain. Right now my chapters tend to be about 10 k words length and it makes a lot of fun to write this way. I would like to talk about how it could move on. The idea right now is to get rid of most of the male villains in Gotham to have a stable and quite powerbase to operate from, then target the jla. For the female villains they will be controlled and use to help his darker plans. I do not plan to reveal the origin of how or who broke batman and when it happened. Oh. Important. I would like to vary the way of mind control. So not each time the same trick. It would be fun to find different ways to target the specific weaknesses of heroes or villains.
Sounds interesting! But execution is everything. I would recommend against making very long chapters, though. This is the Internet: bite-sized chunks is where it's at.
I understand the point with the long Chapters but i am not a fan of 300 Words or less chapters. I love to write in a way that the reader can dive in into the world und can feel with the chars.. hope i manage to do so
I've had success with chapters of 3-6k without too much of a problem. 10k is probably excessive, you'd want to break up the scenes a little more IMO.
Thanks but i stay with the length for now. and if i only write it for myself. i have other stories in this length and i am happy with them, but this one is an experiment
So besides talking about the length what kind of Mind Control techs or methods you would like to see? I want to use for each chapter another one, would be ideal if you tell which person it should target maybe i get some inspiration
