Seeing as both stories have been somewhat stagnant, perhaps we could combine them? Let's say the Idol spreads mostly in the New World and the beastmen curse in the Old. Then at some point the Seductress makes a deal with the Demonic Idol and the two share power, or even become lovers. The Seductress becomes a demoness and corrupts all her worshippers into incubi and succubi though they continue to be bestial. The new combined demonic beast corruption goes worldwide and the story is basically apocalyptic. How do you think that works? Could we do that? Any ideas you could contribute? I wonder, for example, what sort of powers could the demon/beastman hybrids have and what sort of personalities they might possess? Beastmen are feral and very brutal but can also experience love while succubi and incubi are more manipulative. What would their hybrids be like?
I don't think that this blend would be especially attractive or exciting. If the two stories were popular for a while find out what has gone wrong with them and revive them. I'd have been able to offer better advice if you'd provided links to the stories in question.
